Q: Some time between the last three weeks or so, the Miami Herald published an article that dicussed the relationship between the Euforia juice and the flu. How can I obtain this article? Thank you for your prompt response. Compton Griffith 347 627 8777

A: Compton, congrats for asking one of the oddest questions ever associated with this chat. I'd suggest you Google "Miami Herald and Euforia juice and flu." Good luck to you!Submitted by Gerald O. from Winter Park, Fl.
Q: Do you think is fair to question the coaching staff's decision to punt during the fins's second to last drive against the Pats. Miami had passed mid-field and were having some sucess. More so it was crazy to give the ball to Brady when the pats running game was giving him yards in large chunks! Also would you please let the fins play callers know that everyone knows Parcells preaches running plays as the first call in two minute situations. They have not fooled anyone since the Atlanta game!
Answered 11/11/09 15:10:16 by Greg Cote
A: Gerald, I think second-guessing is almost always fair. Without it, there'd be a lot of dead air on sports-talk radio, a lot of white space in newspapers, and a lot of fans sitting around going, "Umm, ahh..." But I really don't think that one punt steered the outcome.Submitted by Greg Cote from Cyberspace USA
Q: By the way, crickets in here today. Not many questions. Now a good time to rifle some in. See this is what I get for daring to change the time one week. Had no choice.

Q: Do you think it's unfair that the big screen in Foxboro focused on a dejected Joey Porter with the caption, "No tackles, No sacks" given his constant trash talk, unsportsmanlike behavior and inability to contribute defensively, or is this just a case of a washed up and classless punk being punked?
Answered 11/11/09 15:06:16 by Greg Cote
A: Donald's trying to catch me by phrasing his question all sneaky! Porter isn't a washed up classless punk. But he IS a guy who ran his mouth, didn't back it up, and probably deserved to get shamed on the bigt screen like he was.Submitted by J. caccamo from Howell, NJ
Q: Greg, I thought Vontae Davis has 3 interceptions for the year. Dolphin website has 2 as his total. Buffalo return for a TD, 2 pt conversion against the Jets and the one against NE. Am I right? Thanks.
Answered 11/11/09 15:04:11 by Greg Cote
A: J-Cacc, you are right AND wrong. He does have those three you mention, but INTs on two-point conversions do not count as interceptions. Don't ask me why. Not my rule. So officially he has two.Submitted by Jay Gerwin from Fort Pierce, Fl
Q: I am so frustrated by this loss....a game they could have won. I hope for all his bluster Joey Porter manned up and spoke after the game about where he was. I never heard his name called ONCE! Jay
Answered 11/11/09 15:02:35 by Greg Cote
A: Alright let's get started! Jay, I feel ya. Hear ya. Porter ran his mouth, didn't back it up on the field, then ducked the media afterward. C'mon, Joe!Submitted by Greg Cote from Cyberspace USA

Answered 11/04/09 14:00:00 by Greg Cote
A: Jerry, so much isn't yet known, such as whether they trade Uggla. My biggest guarantee at this early date is that Gaby Sanchez will be ready and have a huge rookie year.Submitted by THEQUESTIONMAN from Fort Myers

Answered 11/04/09 13:55:07 by Greg Cote
A: Jim, tomorrow is when I consider and research all my NFL picks so I'm not real sure right now. Initially I don't much like Miami winning outright, although the point spread sure feels a bit big to me.Submitted by aubrey beavers from under I-95

Q: tell me a good don shula story (not the one about me)
Answered 11/04/09 13:52:50 by Greg Cote
A: Shula ends a blistering practice at the old Biscayne College, unhappily melting facemasks, chewing out players, screaming. Minutes later his daughter walks up with a grandkid. Shula lifts the toddler, who dangles from his arm and squeals with joy. "Hang time!" shouts the coach with a huge grin.Submitted by Will Ackley from Plantation, FL
Q: the UPSETBIRD! Greg, why do u think it is that the wildcat works so well? i mean the jets figured it out and they shut the dolphins down with it....cant every team just figure it out?
Answered 11/04/09 13:50:31 by Greg Cote
A: Will, that's a great question I've never heard answered to my satisfaction. Not even Sparano or players on either side can explain why it works, or sometimes doesn't. I could bluff a bull---- answer, but the truth is I'm not sure!Submitted by mick, keith, mick, b from uk

Q: hey greg, how are you liking the heat this year? any high hopes?
Answered 11/04/09 13:44:31 by Greg Cote
A: Oliver, I haven't changed my mind on the Heat. Think this will be a slightly above .500, around-6th-seed season unlikely to get past the first round of the playoffs. Wade gives Miami a chance every night, but not a great team in the overall.
