A thief stole a small black clutch purse containing jewelry and an iPhone from a hotel in the 1200 block of Anastasia Avenue between 1:30 ... and 2:15 a.m. Feb. 26. The victim, a guest at the hotel who was attending a large wedding reception, left the purse unattended in either the hotel ballroom or a nearby restroom. The stolen property was valued at $15,951.
