I have participated in each mitigation program related to windstorm coverage. I have shutters, roof ties — everything recommended by Citizens Property Insurance to bring down rates. But, because of the age of my home (circa 1923), I pay additional penalties. My rates continue to go up, and my confidence in Citizens continues to go down.”
