As a staunch supporter of Israel, I must take issue with Prime Minister Netanyahu’s foolish stance to come here and speak to the U.S. Congress about a subject it is already well-versed on — the threat of Iran having nuclear weapons.
The GOP is using him as nothing more than a useful dupe in its constant efforts to demean President Obama.
Even in Israel, the pundits are questioning Netanyahu’s move as being foolish and against what’s good for their country.
When Bibi came to cry on the shoulders of Democratic leaders such as Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, he got a cool reception.
The reason is that, unlike Netanyahu and Boehner, they refuse to throw Obama under the bus. Currently, Netanyahu is behind in the Israeli polls.
This cheap bit of grandstanding will not help him in Israel or with the Obama State Department.
