Opinion writer Jesse Panuccio has a lot of nerve to put his two cents in our Miami Beach local affairs, when let me guess, he is a Republican that feels big government should stay out of local affairs. (Miami Beach waging futile attempt to raise minimum wage, May 16)
I suggest that he go to a commission meeting and see for himself how we take care of our people. He will also see how popular our mayor is.
On second thought, he should stay in Tallahassee with our “oh-so-popular” governor that appointed him executive director of the Department of Economic Opportunity. We in Miami Beach definitely don't need his advice on our local affairs.
