Every Republican presidential candidate and most conservative political pundits have all trashed Donald Trump for being not serious, an entertainer and reality star, and not a true conservative. They imply, and I agree, that he’s totally unfit and unqualified to be president.
Maybe it’s time to ask current and former Republican presidential candidates and conservative media hosts what’s more important, their country or the Republican Party?
If Trump becomes the Republican nominee, are those who attacked him going to support their party’s nominee and in so doing reveal the truth, that party is indeed more important than their country? Or, if America and the Constitution come first, will they choose to withhold support of the party? Have they the convictions of their words, or do they run hollow?
