The Miami Dolphins has been a mediocre professional team, to say the least, for the last decade or perhaps even longer.
However, it flabbergasts me the space and ink provided by the Miami Herald before, throughout and after each season.
The newspaper’s sports section is dedicated to the repeated losses. This entails several pages and giant pictures, with experts giving us their opinion explaining how bad the team is, over and over.
Compare that to the coverage of the Miami Heat, our other professional sports franchise, which has given us four consecutive runs to the NBA Finals and two championships in the last five years.
Never miss a local story.
The difference in coverage is amazing. Can anyone please explain this disparity to the fans?
