Biden for president now

In my book, hard as it is to say, Mr. Obama should resign.

This country desperately needs a moderate Republican-Democratic alliance to balance the threatening rise of extremism in both parties. Mr. Obama cannot achieve that. But Mr. Biden, a seasoned Washington player, can. Similarly, it’s clear that Mr. Obama is having serious difficulties in both handling and coping (why vacations?) with the grave international situation we’re dealing with. Here, Mr. Biden would also bring considerable experience with his long senate tenure and first-hand knowledge of the Middle East. It comes to seem that for himself and his family, but also for his party and for his country, this would be the proper path.
