Paying for power lines

Re the Aug. 10 article, Coral Gables wants FPL customers to help pay cost of underground power lines in city: The answer should be a resounding No.
What pretentious nerve the communities of Miami, South Miami, Pinecrest and Coral Gables have to ask the rest of the state to help fund their beautification project. The burden of the construction costs should lie with the communities that are insisting on underground lines, that were an afterthought from sticker shock.
