What hypocrisy! In saying that he’ll accept public campaign cash, Charlie Crist said, “I think it’s a good idea because the public needs to be involved in our government, our democracy.” Yet he has declined to debate Nan Rich, the other Democratic candidate for governor. From Crist’s point of view, democracy means using taxpayers’ money, but not giving them a chance to know where he stands on issues compared to Rich. Not democratic at all.
