Healthcare issues

Re the article Doctors declining to accept Obamacare plans came at an interesting time for me. I knew it wouldn't be easy carrying insurance purchased through the exchange, as everything comes with a price, but I had no idea it would be so difficult to find a doctor that accepts said insurance.

It is ridiculous enough that doctors can pick and choose the plans they are willing to accept from each insurance carrier, but for them to openly admit they only reject the plans offered through the exchanges is insulting.

I had to find a new OB/GYN today because while all my previous doctors accept Cigna, they specifically do not accept Cigna LocalPlus. I am willing to pay for my share of health care, but I am not going to carry insurance and pay the uninsured rates in order to keep my doctors.
