Where’s Israeli peace?

I read with dismay the letter from Audrey Bomse, of Jewish Voice for Peace, which suggested that the end of the Israeli occupation of the West Bank was the way to peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
Israel tried that in Gaza. That led to the rise of Hamas, dedicated to the destruction of Israel and the daily terror of rockets launched at Israelis. To paraphrase Golda Meir: Peace will come only when the lives of Palestinian children are more important to their mothers than killing Jews.
