Re the June 29 article, Labor talks cast long shadow: I'm glad that Patricia Mazzei is again writing about the local unions and their Rolls-Royce benefits. The blame goes to our local commissioners who provide these benefits for a quid pro quo aka union votes and money for their reelection campaign.
The people must support the mayor if we are to stop the madness. We must put pressure on our commissioners so they don't give our hard working money (taxes) away.
