Blown home advantage

As a Miami Marlins season-ticket holder, I had the unfortunate experience of being at Sunday’s home game.

While the rookie pitcher went to a full count against each Met, I kept saying, “Take him out!” Marlins Manager Mike Redmond is usually a good coach, but Marlins fans were forced to watch the score reach 7-0 for the New York Mets before he went to the bull pen.

Our strength was our home field. Let’s get it back!
