No to soccer stadium

I think the past few days have shown us why we don’t need a stadium for soccer in Miami. First, powerhouse England played in front of some 40,000-plus spectators and the June 9 World Cup “warm up” with 4,000-plus fans in Sun Life Stadium.

If the competing teams are not the likes of Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Mexico and others, people will wait for the NFL season to spend their hard-earned money.

Galaxy, Chicago, Orlando and others are not a big deal, and do not warrant waterfront land.
