The eastern span of the Venetian Causeway is stuck in the up position between Rivo Alto and Belle Isle, traffic coming from Miami Beach is blocked. We are working to get more details and will post them here as they become available.

Update: Miami Beach Police say there is a malfunction and crews are working to fix it, but no word yet on when it may be fixed.

Update: As of 10:45, the bridge was still stuck, and a crew was still working to fix it.
