Traffic flow will be disrupted this week by roadwork on State Roads 836 and 826, the Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike, Interstate 75, and an intersection in Hialeah
Several ramps will close intermittently along 836 for installation of temporary lighting and other work through Thursday every night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day. They include the ramps at Northwest 17th, 27th, 37th, 42nd, 45th and 57th avenues.
On the turnpike, one of two northbound or southbound lanes may be closed nightly at various locations between Southwest 216th and 40th streets between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. for various work, including widening and construction of toll express lanes.
On I-75, the eastbound ramp to northbound 826 will be closed through Friday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. The same closure will be repeated Feb. 8-12, also between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night.
On Northwest 36th Street, workers will continuously close the railroad crossing between Northwest North River Drive and 37th Court to conduct repairs from 6 a.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
In Hialeah, workers this week will close West 76th Street at Fourth Avenue for about one month to perform drainage work and road reconstruction, according to the Florida Department of Transportation. While West 76th Street will be closed, West 4th Avenue will remain open, FDOT said.
