Roadwork will halt this week because of Thanksgiving on Thursday, but a few lane restrictions will still take place on some roadways with most of the work ending before the holiday.
Intermittent lane closings will take place along State Road 836 so workers can pave the roadway through Wednesday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night.
Closures include: the eastbound 836 exit ramp to southbound Northwest 27th Avenue; the entrance ramp to eastbound 836 from Northwest 37th Avenue; the eastbound 836 exit ramps to northbound and southbound 42nd Avenue/LeJeune Road; and the eastbound 836 exit ramp to 57th Avenue.
On Florida’s Turnpike, one or two northbound or southbound lanes may be closed nightly at various locations between Southwest 216th Street and Eureka Drive/184th Street between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. through Tuesday.
Also on the turnpike, one or two lanes in each direction between Southwest 104th Street/Killian Parkway and 84th Street/Eureka Drive may be closed nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. through Tuesday. A third lane in either direction may be closed between11 p.m. and 5 a.m., if needed.
Meanwhile, one southbound turnpike lane at various locations will be closed near Northwest 25th and 41st streets between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. through Wednesday for roadway sign work.
