First of all, I would like to thank you for your great efforts in compiling the Freedom Flights date base information. It was with great emotion that I looked up my father's arrival to freedom information......a stay which he thought would only last a few months at the most. Cuba would be free soon, and though grateful to the U.S. for accepting us as refugees of the Castro regime, he was looking forward to returning to his loved country. Unfortunately, my Dad passed away on May 2nd, 2004, with the most profound desire to return to a free Cuba. Our family arrival information is as follows: Name Entry Date Flag Nelson Ulloa Rodriguez 6/7/1967 Parolee/Airlift Nereida Couso Boveda 6/7/1967 Parolee/Airlift Nelson Jose Ulloa Couso 6/7/1967 Parolee/Airlift Ana Maria Ulloa Couso 6/7/1967 Parolee/Airlift Neither one of our family members ever visited the island after leaving on June 7th, 1967. We all love the United States for all the opportunities it provided our family, and all the Cubans that have arrived looking for freedom. It will be a bitter/sweet feeling for me to see Cuba free some day.............just thinking about it makes my eyes tear up.............my Dad will not be here to see it, but I'm sure he will be with us in spirit, and rejoicing when that day finally arrives. GOD BLESS AMERICA!! Thank you, once again, Ana De Los Reyes
