CNN news anchor and local boy Rick Sanchez will shoot his live show Tuesday from Florida International University's main campus in West Miami-Dade.

CNN Newsroom Live will go live from the Graham Center pit at 3 p.m. and will include audience participation.

Students, faculty, staff and the general public are invited but must arrive by 2:30 p.m. Sanchez is expected to interview FIU Athletic Director Pete Garcia and men's basketball coach Isiah Thomas.

Sanchez is in South Florida promoting CNN's ``Latino in America'' project, which highlights the contributions of Americans of Hispanic ancestry.
