PINECREST

A thief smashed a window on a 2007 Infiniti in the 12600 block of Southwest 80th Avenue and stole a bag, an iPod, a computer charger and a BlackBerry together valued at $660 at 1:15 a.m. Oct. 14.

A burglar shattered the glass door of West Marine, 11735 S. Dixie Hwy., and stole several Garmin GPS devices valued at $15,350 at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 14. The burglar left behind the sledgehammer that was used to break the display cases.

A thief broke a window on a 2003 Jeep in the 8300 block of Southwest 135th Street and stole a briefcase valued at $100 between 8 and 10:45 p.m. Oct. 15. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

PALMETTO BAY

A thief stole a laptop computer, a computer case, a PSP, a camera and cologne after breaking a window on a 2009 Hyundai in the 14900 block of South Dixie Highway at 1 p.m. Oct. 18. The items were valued at $1,090. Damage was estimated at $200.

SOUTH MIAMI HEIGHTS

A thief stole a radio and CD player, a back seat and two tail lights from a 2002 Lincoln in the 20700 block of Southwest 121st Court between 9 p.m. Oct. 21 and 8:45 a.m. Oct. 22. The items were valued at $1,700.

CUTLER BAY

A thief took $400 after breaking a door lock on a 2005 Ford Ranger in the 20200 block of South Dixie Highway between 1:30 and 1:45 p.m. Oct. 23. Damage was estimated at $100.

A burglar stole a laptop computer and a camera after breaking a French door at a house in the 21900 block of Southwest 97th Court between 5 and 8 p.m. Oct. 24. The items were valued at $1,500. Damage was estimated at $200.

A burglar took a television, two laptop computers, a purse, a handgun, a briefcase, a PlayStation, 25 Xbox games, a wallet and jewelry after breaking a window on a house in the 21400 block of Ingraham Avenue between 7:45 p.m. Oct. 24 and 2:15 a.m. Oct. 25. The items were valued at $31,100.

REDLAND

A burglar stole a push lawn mower, a tractor lawn mower and a water pump from a storage room at an abandoned house in the 21400 block of Southwest 232nd Street after cutting a lock on a chain between 10 and 10:30 a.m. Oct. 20. The items were valued at $2,875.

A burglar went for a television, earrings, two laptop computers, a DVD player and saxophone after forcing open a window of a house in the 17000 block of Southwest 213th Lane between 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20. The items were valued at $3,250.

MONKEY JUNGLE AREA

A thief grabbed a Glock handgun and holster from an unlocked 2004 Ford F-250 in the 15300 block of Southwest 210th Street at 9 a.m. Oct. 12. The items were valued at $535.

GOULDS

A burglar tried to pry open the front door at an apartment in the 9900 block of Southwest 224th Street between 8:15 and 11:30 a.m. Oct. 20. Damage was estimated at $100.

PRINCETON

A burglar tried to pry open a window at a house in the 11000 block of Southwest 238th Terrace between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Oct. 20. Damage was estimated at $300.

HOMESTEAD AIR RESERVE PARK AREA

A thief stole a checkbook from a 2003 Buick in the 11900 block of Southwest 274th Street between 10:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and 6 a.m. Oct. 23. The checkbook was valued at $10.

A thief stole an iTouch and a camera from a 2000 Ford Explorer in the 11900 block of Southwest 274th Street between 8 p.m. Oct. 22 and 6 a.m. Oct. 23. The items were valued at $800.

LEISURE CITY

A thief stole a camera and two watches from a 1998 Dodge Dakota in the 15900 block of Southwest 304th Terrace between 9 p.m. Oct. 23 and 2 a.m. Oct. 24. The items were valued at $1,650.

HOMESTEAD AREA

A thief stole a stereo from an unlocked 1994 Ford Ranger in the 29200 block of Southwest 197th Avenue between 4:30 and 10 p.m. Oct. 22. The stereo was valued at $140.

HOMESTEAD

A thief stole a briefcase and papers from an unlocked 2002 Ford F-150 in the 1500 block of Northeast 14th Street between 10:30 p.m. Oct. 23 and 4:30 a.m. Oct. 24.

A vandal smashed the windshield of a 2009 Nissan Maxima in the 1600 block of Southeast 31st Court between 2 p.m. Oct. 12 and 1:30 a.m. Oct. 13.

A thief stole a 1996 Acura in the 1400 block of East Mowry Drive between 1:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 21.

A burglar stole a Smith & Wesson revolver valued at $500 from a house in the 400 block of Southeast Eighth Street between 9 a.m. Oct. 1 and 1:45 p.m. Oct. 21

SOUTH MIAMI

A man used a screwdriver to pry open the cabinet of the Don Pan kiosk at the Shoppes at Sunset Place, 5701 SW 72nd St., and stole $1,031 at 11 p.m. Oct. 11.
