A man wearing a brown polo shirt and a black baseball cap robbed Mercantil Commerce Bank, 8181 SW 117th St., at 10 a.m. Oct. 8. He handed a teller a note that said, ``put 15,000 in the bag or I'll shoot you,'' took $6,080 and then drove away in a four-door Ford Taurus .

A thief stole a satellite radio, a GPS and a tennis racquet together valued at $620 from a 2002 Ford Explorer and a 1996 Honda Civic in the 13300 block of Southwest 58th Court between 10 p.m. Oct. 9 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 10.

Someone stole Ray-Ban sunglasses valued at $100, Armani sunglass valued at $200 and a jumper cable from a 2007 Honda in the 13400 block of Southwest 58th Court between 10 p.m. Oct. 9 and 9:50 a.m. Oct. 10.

A thief stole a 1999 Lexus in the 13200 block of Old Biscayne Drive between 8:30 p.m. Oct. 20 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 21.

• PALMETTO BAY

A thief stole a bag and credit card after prying open a door lock on a 2007 Lincoln Navigator at the corner of 77th Avenue and Southwest 152nd Street between 12:30 and 1:15 p.m. Oct. 18. The items were valued at $350. Damage was estimated at $100.

A thief took a briefcase after breaking a window on a 2008 Ford Expedition in the 7900 block of Southwest 152nd Street after a thief broke a window between 7 and 8:15 p.m. Oct. 20. The briefcase was valued at $300. Damage was estimated at $100.

• FAIRWAY HEIGHTS

A thief broke a window and ransacked a 2001 Nissan Altima in the 9300 block of Coral Reef Drive between noon and 2 p.m. Oct. 19. Damage was estimated at $250.

A thief stole a 1996 Acura in the 10800 block of Southwest 156th Terrace between 9 p.m. Oct. 20 and 7 a.m. Oct. 21.

• WEST PERRINE

A thief broke a window and damaged a tool box on a 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 in the 18100 block of South Dixie Highway between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19 and 8 a.m. Oct. 20. Damage was estimated at $500.

• SOUTH MIAMI HEIGHTS

A thief stole a 2008 Hyundai Accent in the 12400 block of Southwest 207th Terrace at 12:45 p.m. Oct. 20.

• CUTLER BAY

A thief stole a GPS and a radio after breaking a window on a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier in the 9000 block of Southwest 212th Terrace between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and 7:15 a.m. Oct. 23. The items were valued at $550. Damage was estimated at $100.

A burglar broke a window and used a trash can to climb inside a house in the 19600 block of Southwest 86th Avenue, then kicked open a locked bedroom door and searched the garage between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 23 and 1:15 a.m. Oct. 24. Damage was estimated at $600.

A thief stole a 2006 23-foot Sea Pro boat and trailer in the 22500 block of Southwest 94th Path between 1 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 23. Boat, trailer were valued at $43,000.

• CUTLER RIDGE

A burglar broke a window on a 1999 Ford Expedition in the 11000 block of Southwest 200th Street and ransacked it between 9:15 p.m. Oct. 8 and 8:45 a.m. Oct. 9. Damage was estimated at $300.

• GOULDS

A thief stole a stereo from a 2006 Dodge Charger in the 11000 block of Southwest 226th Terrace between 8 p.m. Oct. 8 and 6:15 a.m. Oct. 9. The stereo was valued at $1,000.
