DORAL
A thief stole six credit cards, two wallets and other items from a 2004 Mitsubishi in the 8100 block of Northwest 12th Street after breaking a door lock between 5:15 and 6:30 p.m.
Oct. 12. The items were valued at $128. Damage was estimated at $200.
A burglar stole a television and other items after prying open a front door and breaking a back window at a house in the 7600 block of Northwest 114th Path between 10 p.m.
Oct. 12 and 2 p.m. Oct. 18. The items were valued at $2,350. Damage was estimated at $500.
DORAL AREA
A thief stole a fanny pack, checks and identification cards from a 2004 Ford F-250 in the 7000 block of Northwest 74th Avenue between noon and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 12. The items were valued at $470.
ACADIA PARK AREA
A burglar stole a laptop computer, a PlayStation, PlayStation games, three watches and identification cards after prying open a French door at a house in the 5500 block of Northwest 184th Terrace between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 13. The items were valued at $2,762. Damage was estimated at $300.
A burglar tried to pry open the front and back doors of a house in the 19500 block of Northwest 55th Circle Place, setting off the alarm between
8 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Oct. 13. Damage was estimated at $800.
A burglar stole a laptop computer and another computer from a trailer in the 4900 block of Northwest 199th Street after prying open a door between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 12. The burglar then stole a 2007 Nissan Sentra parked out front. The computers were valued at $2,400. Damage was estimated
at $10.
MIAMI LAKES
A burglar stole two laptop computers, a gold cross and jewelry after breaking a French door with a flower pot at a house in the 15800 block of Northwest 82nd Court between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 7. The items were valued at $15,800. Damage was estimated at $300.
A thief stole a laptop computer, a laptop case and $5 in change from a 2005 Hyundai in the 16500 block of Northwest 77th Place between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 1 and 6 a.m. Oct. 2. The items were valued at $1,645.
A thief stole a checkbook after prying open two doors on a 2000 Ford F-150 in the 8900 block of Northwest 152nd Street between 9 p.m. Oct. 6 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 7. The checkbook was valued at $5.
A thief stole a checkbook and iPod cord after breaking a window on a 2008 Volvo in the 16900 block of Northwest 83rd Court between 9 p.m.
Oct. 6 and 9 a.m. Oct. 7. The items were valued at $21. Damage was estimated at $200.
PALM SPRINGS NORTH AREA
A burglar tried to push open a door at an apartment in the 7000 block of Northwest 179th Street at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 13.
A burglar stole $5,000, a laptop computer and jewelry after breaking a window of a house in the 17000 block of Northwest 78th Avenue between 6:30 and 10:15 p.m.
Oct. 13. The items were valued at $9,500. Damage was estimated at $500.
MIAMI LAKES AREA
A thief stole a camera, $140 and two cellphones after breaking a window of a house in the 17300 block of Northwest 61st Place between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 16. The items were valued at $1,000. Damage was estimated at $150.
NORTH GLADE AREA
A burglar broke a sliding glass door at a house in the 4900 block of Northwest 179th Street between 10 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. Oct. 15. The burglar took nothing but apparently cut himself, leaving behind drops of blood on the door. Damage was estimated at $300.
