A burglar stole the front hood, two headlights and a front grill off a car at the Metrorail Station, 7701 NW 79th Ave., on Aug. 31. The items were valued at $1,025.
DORAL
A thief stole the engine computer from a 2003 Freightliner tractor-trailer at the corner of Northwest 79th Avenue and 58th Street between 6:30 and 9 a.m. Aug. 24. The computer was valued at $6,400.
MIAMI SPRINGS
A burglar removed the door hinges from a sliding glass door and stole a mattress from a home in the 200 block of South Drive on Aug. 31. The mattress was valued at $300.
DOLPHIN MALL AREA
A thief stole a camera and a car stereo after breaking a lock on a 2006 Ford F250 in the 11400 block of Northwest 12th Street between noon and 4 p.m. Aug. 21. The items were valued at $2,500. Damage was estimated at $75.
COUNTRY LAKE PARK AREA
A burglar tried to pick the front door lock at a house in the 8000 block of Northwest 186th Street between 4:45 and 5:45 p.m. Sept. 2. Damage was estimated at $50.
ACADIA PARK AREA
A burglar stole jewelry valued at $1,600 after crawling through a bedroom window at a town house in the 6700 block of Northwest 186th Lane between 5 and 6:40 p.m. Sept. 2.
A thief stole 10 boxes of tissue paper after cutting the locking brackets on a storage container outside a CVS Pharmacy in the 4700 block of Northwest 183rd Street between 5 p.m. Aug. 31 and 9:50 p.m. Sept. 2. The tissue paper was valued at $500. Damage was estimated at $100.
A thief stole a 1996 Honda Accord in the 6700 block of Northwest 186th Street between 6:30 p.m. Sept. 2 and 10 a.m. Sept. 3.
A burglar stole a television, a laptop computer, three bracelets, a video game, 10 rings and two necklaces after forcing open the front door of a town house in the 6700 block of Northwest 191st Terrace between 9:20 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sept. 2. The items were valued at $13,000. Damage was estimated at $125.
MIAMI LAKES AREA
A burglar stole jewelry valued at $4,500 from a house in the 17300 block of Northwest 61st Court after crawling through a kitchen window between 9:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Sept. 3.
A burglar tried to pry open a sliding glass door at a house in the 6000 block of Northwest 179th Terrace at 11:45 a.m. Sept. 3. Damage was estimated at $500.
NORTH GLADE AREA
A thief stole two edgers, two weed trimmers, two tree trimmers and two blowers after breaking the lock on a trailer in the 17400 block of Northwest 57th Avenue between 11 and 11:45 a.m. Sept. 2. The items were valued at $3,360. Damage was estimated at $60.
HIALEAH
A thief stole two tires and a buffer from a car in the 300 block of West 20th Street between noon and 12:05 p.m. Aug. 23. The items were valued at $250.
A thief broke the back window of a car in the 800 block of East 16th Place between 5. a.m. Aug. 24 and 10 a.m. Aug. 27.
UNINCORPORATED MIAMI-DADE
A burglar stole clothes from a storage unit at U.S. Storage in the 15100 block of Northeast Sixth Avenue after picking a lock between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Aug. 22. The clothes were valued at $2,500.
A thief stole camera equipment after breaking a door lock and damaging the center console in a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche in the 1200 block of Northeast 199th Street at 3 a.m. Aug. 25. The items were valued at $100. Damage was estimated at $100.
