DOWNTOWN MIAMI
A thief stole a laptop computer and a DVD player from a residence in the 700 block of Northeast Second Avenue on June 4.
LITTLE HAITI
Burglars smashed windows and ransacked four apartments in the first block of Northwest 79th Street on June 5.
Someone ransacked a house in the 100 block of Northwest 52nd Street between 10:30 a.m. June 5 and midnight June 6.
A house was ransacked in the 100 block of Northwest 77th Street on June 3.
A burglar ransacked a house in the 7600 block of Northwest Third Avenue after forcing open a window June 3.
WYNWOOD
A burglar ransacked a house in the 200 block of Northeast 20th Street between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. June 2.
A burglar ransacked a house in the 300 block of Northwest 35th Street after forcing open a rear door between 5 p.m. June 2 and 7:30 a.m. June 3.
An intruder broke into a house in the 600 block of Northeast 36th Street between June 3 and June 8.
An intruder forced open the front door of a house in the first block of Northwest 27th Street between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 3.
UPPER EASTSIDE
A burglar stole jewelry valued at $10,000 after prying open the front door of a house in the 700 block of Northeast 72nd Street on June 4.
A burglar broke into a warehouse at 270 NE 61st St. after forcing open a garage door between 5:15 p.m. June 3 and 9:15 a.m. June 4.
NORTH MIAMI
Two gunmen robbed a man walking in the 13400 block of Biscayne Boulevard at 3:30 a.m. June 29. The victim told police he saw two men approaching before they pointed guns at the back of his head and ordered him to the ground. The robbers then stole his nap sack containing an iPod, a wallet with $450 cash, clothes and documents. The iPod was valued at $290. The two men then got into a gray four-door car with a broken window covered by plastic.
A thief stole a 2001 Dodge Caravan in the 13400 block of Northwest Seventh Avenue between 10:30 and 11 a.m. June 29.
Someone broke a window and went through a 2001 Daewoo at the corner of Northeast 125th Street and Arch Creek Road between 4 p.m. June 28 and 10:15 a.m. June 29.
A thief stole a 1993 Chevrolet van in the 12100 block of Northwest Fourth Avenue between 8:30 p.m. June 29 and 6:15 a.m. June 30.
A thief stole a trailer containing landscaping equipment in the 12200 block of Northwest 12th Avenue between 9 p.m. June 29 and 7 a.m. June 30. The trailer and tools were valued at $6,640.
A burglar stole a DVD player, a digital camera, a computer monitor, a laptop computer case with computer equipment, 25 CDs, cologne and three cans of beer after breaking a bedroom window of a home in the 13300 block of Northeast 11th Avenue between 4:30 and 11:45 p.m. June 27.
A thief stole a tool box valued at $120 after smashing a window on a 1995 Toyota Camry in the 700 block of Northeast 142nd Street between 10 p.m. June 27 and 9:30 a.m. June 28.
A thief stole a wallet containing identification cards after smashing windows and going through a 2003 Dodge Durango in the 1300 block of Northwest 135th Street between 6:15 and 6:45 a.m. June 28.
NORTH MIAMI BEACH
Police working undercover arrested a juvenile boy after they said they saw walk over to an ATM at the Bank of America, 1199 NE 163rd St., put grease into the cash slot and try to pry out money with a screw driver and a knife at 11:45 p.m. July 3.
MIAMI SHORES
A thief stole five drills and other tools valued at $1,390 after breaking a window on a 1995 Dodge Ram outside Publix, 9050 Biscayne Blvd., between 6:30 and 7 p.m. June 25.
UNINCORPORATED MIAMI-DADE
A thief stole a purse, credit cards, jewelry and other items after breaking a window on a 2008 Toyota Camry at the corner of 195th Street and Northeast First Place between 7:15 and 7:30 p.m. June 25. The items were valued at $1,185. Damage was estimated at $150.
Police arrested a 47-year-old Miami man after he tried to steal tools from The Home Depot, 1245 NE 165th St., at 7:30 p.m. June 25. The tools were valued at $403.
A burglar stole a monitor from an unlocked house in the 18800 block of Northeast Third Court between 6:45 p.m. June 23 and 8:30 a.m. June 24. The monitor was valued at $600.
A thief stole a wheel from a 1997 Toyota Corolla in the 15900 block of Northeast Sixth Avenue between 10 p.m. June 23 and 9:30 a.m. June 24. The wheel was valued at $80.
A thief damaged the dashboard of a 2000 Ford F-350 in the 1400 block of Miami Gardens Drive between 10 p.m. June 23 and 11 a.m. June 24. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
AVENTURA
Two women stole 80 to 100 pairs of underwear from an armoire drawer at the Victoria's Secret Pink store, 19575 Biscayne Blvd., between 2:45 and 3 p.m. July 4. The store manager said she saw the women remove the merchandise valued at $700 before running out of the store.
Police arrested a 49-year-old woman on a charge of theft at JCPenney, 19525 Biscayne Blvd., after store security said she shoplifted costume jewelry valued at $54 at 2:45 p.m. July 5.
A thief stole two DVD players mounted in car headrests, two amplifiers and a combination GPS, CD and DVD player together valued at $5,000 after breaking into a 2003 Ford in the parking lot at the Aventura Mall, 19501 Biscayne Blvd., between 3 and 8:30 p.m. July 5.
A man stole a stack of 28 pairs of jeans valued at $840 from Old Navy, 19225 Biscayne Blvd., at 2:30 p.m. July 6. The man grabbed the jeans and then ran out and into a burgundy-colored SUV.
