DOWNTOWN MIAMI
Thieves stole 25 boxes of tiles from a storage area in a construction site, 1900 N. Bayshore Dr., between 5 p.m. March 18 and 10 a.m. March 19.
Thieves stole two passports from Norwegian tourists staying at the Holiday Inn, 340 Biscayne Blvd., March 17. The tourists said while they were gone, someone took the passports from their hotel room.
Thieves made off with two dolly trailers from a parking lot at 1000 NE First Ave. between 7 p.m. March 15 and 10:30 a.m. March 16.
WYNWOOD
A thief broke into a car in the 2800 block of Biscayne Boulevard April 1.
A thief stole a Social Security card from a house in the 2000 block of Northwest Third Avenue March 13.
LITTLE HAITI
A thief stole an air conditioning unit outside a house in the 600 block of Northwest 52nd Street March 20.
UPPER EASTSIDE
Thieves ransacked a business at 6801 Biscayne Blvd. between 5 p.m. March 12 and 7 a.m. March 13.
A thief made off with a city of Miami garbage can from a house in the 200 block of Northeast 77th Street March 14.
A thief smashed a window of a car outside Wendy's, 7801 Biscayne Blvd., March 14.
NORTH MIAMI
A thief stole a purse valued at $50, along with identification cards from a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta in the 600 block of Northeast 145th Street between midnight and 2 p.m. April 14.
A burglar stole $950 after breaking a glass door at a residence in the 1500 block of Northwest 123rd Street between 8:45 a.m. and noon April 14.
A thief stole a GPS, two digital cameras, a cellphone, a tool box, clothes and other items together valued at $2,800 after breaking into a 2006 Ford F-150 in the parking lot at the Best Western, 12210 Biscayne Blvd., between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. April 14.
Burglars made off with a 42-inch plasma television and gold jewelry together valued at $8,200 after prying open the rear door at a home in the 12200 block of Northwest Seventh Avenue between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. April 14.
A thief broke a window on a 2006 Ford Escape at Ben Franklin Park, 13400 NW 12th Ave., making off with a purse containing identification cards, a bank card, credit cards and $500 cash between 5:45 and 7 p.m. April 14.
A burglar ransacked a residence in the 1100 block of Northeast 142nd Street after removing the jalousie window panes on a kitchen window between 7 and 10 p.m. April 19.
A burglar made off with a PlayStation portable, two Nintendo DS systems, a digital camera, a laptop computer, jewelry and other items together valued at $4,100 after climbing a balcony and pulling open the sliding glass door at a residence in the 1900 block of Northeast 123rd Street between 9 and 11 p.m. April 19.
A thief stole a wallet with $1,600 cash, credit cards, two debit cards, a concealed weapons card and other items after breaking into a 1997 Mercedes-Benz in the 13400 block of Northeast Second Avenue between 10 p.m. April 19 and 7:30 a.m. April 20.
A thief broke a window on a 1994 Toyota in the 500 block of Northeast 127th Street, making off with a CD player valued at $250 between midnight and 11:45 a.m. April 20.
NORTH MIAMI BEACH
A thief shattered a window on a 2004 Toyota Camry in the 800 block of North Miami Beach Boulevard, making off with a purse valued at $50 between 3 and 3:15 p.m. April 10. Damage was estimated at $200.
Burglars stole a safe with documents, jewelry and a DVD player together valued at $5,150 after prying open a door at a home in the 1500 block of Northeast 183rd Street between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. April 10.
A burglar kicked in the front door and ransacked a residence in the 1200 block of Northeast 183rd Street, making off with a camera and a wedding ring together valued at $2,200.
A thief drove away with a 1990 Toyota Corolla valued at $10,000, along with a purse, credit cards, identification cards and $250 cash, in the 2000 block of Northeast 169th Street between 7:30 and 11 p.m. April 25.
A thief grabbed a purse with two text books, identification cars and other items together valued at $135 after breaking a window on a 2005 Chevrolet Impala while the woman was inside paying for gas at 5 NW 167th St. at 7:30 p.m. April 26.
UNINCORPORATED MIAMI-DADE
A thief stole a purse, identification cards and credit cards after breaking a window on a 2007 Nissan in the 100 block of Northeast 167th Street between 8 and 8:15 p.m. April 24. The stolen items were valued at $2,560. Damage was estimated at $200.
A thief stole a compactor after breaking a lock on a trailer in the 100 block of Northwest 162nd Street between 8 p.m. April 20 and 8:30 p.m. April 24. The compactor was valued at $2,200. Damage was estimated at $20.
A thief stole a radio face and $200 from a 1992 Toyota Camry in the 500 block of Northwest 84th Terrace between 1 and 1:10 a.m. April 23. The radio face was valued at $50.
A thief stole a purse and $50 after breaking a window on a 2009 Honda Odyssey in the 300 block of Northwest 139th Street between noon and 12:45 p.m. April 23. The purse was valued at $33. Damage was estimated at $300.
