A burglar broke into a restaurant at 1050 NW 14th St. on Sept. 13.

• NORTH MIAMI BEACH

A thief stole a car battery valued at $50 from a 1994 Toyota Tercel in the 900 block of Northeast 170th Street between 6:45 and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 21.

A burglar smashed a window on a 1998 Toyota Sienna in the 600 block of Northeast 167th Street between 5 and 8 p.m. Oct. 21. Damage was estimated at $200.

A thief stole a GPS, a cellphone, a wallet and credit cards after breaking into and ransacking a 2005 Ford Expedition outside Dixie Lounge, 17060 W. Dixie Hwy., between 1 and 4 a.m. Oct. 25. The items were valued at $500.

A thief stole several cellphones, routers, phone chargers and cords and a Halloween costume together valued at $1,664 after shattering a window on a 2005 Honda Accord in the parking lot of IHOP, 1101 NE 163rd St., between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 25.

A thief stole an LCD television and a cellphone together valued a t $700 after smashing a window on a 2007 Mercedes-Benz in the 1800 block of Northeast 170th Street between 8 and 10:45 p.m. Oct. 25. Damage was estimated at $200.

A thief stole a car manual cover containing a keyless code and $2 in loose change after breaking into a 2005 Mercedes-Benz SUV in the 17000 block of Northeast 17th Avenue between 10 p.m. Oct. 25 and 7 a.m. Oct. 26.

• UPPER EASTSIDE

A burglar rummaged through a car on the corner of Northeast Second Avenue and 40th Street on Sept. 16.

Two men stole items from a woman's backyard in the 5800 block of Northeast Third Avenue while she was home on Sept. 15.

• NORTH MIAMI

A thief stole a purse containing a cellphone, documents, a checkbook, a bank card and identification cards after smashing a window on a Chrsyler PT Cruiser in the 200 block of Northeast 121st Terrace between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 16.

A thief stole a purse after breaking into a Ford Taurus in the 1600 block of Northwest 119th Street between 10 and 10:15 p.m. Oct. 19.

A woman robbed another woman walking in the 500 block of Northeast 143rd Street at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 6. The victim said she was walking home from a bus stop when a woman approached her and forced her purse away from underneath her arm before getting in a beige 1990s model Toyota Camry and then speeding away.

A man snatched a purse off a woman's shoulder as she was getting out of her car at a gas station at 650 Opa-locka Blvd. at 2 p.m. Oct. 7. The purse contained $3,000 cash and a digital camera, designer sunglasses, credit cards and other items valued at $800.

A burglar stole a desktop computer and a laptop computer after rummaging through a residence in the 400 block of Northwest 126th Street between 9:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Oct. 8.

A thief stole a 1998 Suzuki Sidekick in the 12100 block of Northeast Sixth Avenue between 2 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 4.

A thief stole a Suzuki motorcycle in the 14000 block of Biscayne Boulevard between 2 and 3 p.m. Oct. 5.
