A thief stole a wheelchair from a Subway restaurant at 165 NE Third Ave. on Oct. 6.

A thief stole a money order for $1,125 from an office at 100 S. Biscayne Blvd. on Oct. 1.

• WYNWOOD

A burglar ransacked a house in the 2100 block of Northwest Fifth Avenue while a man was inside the residence sleeping between 2 and 6 a.m. Oct. 3.

• EDGEWATER

Someone stole a signed check from an office at 2915 Biscayne Blvd. on Oct. 2. and cashed the check for $3,000.

• LITTLE HAITI

A burglar broke into a house in the 600 block of Northwest 73 Street on Oct. 2. The victim told officers on the scene she went to a nearby pawn shop and confirmed her property was there.

• UPPER EASTSIDE

A burglar stole $100 after ransacking an apartment in the 5700 block of Northeast Miami Place on Oct. 6.

A burglar stole an electricity meter outside a house in the 100 block of Northeast 58th Terrace on Oct. 9.

A thief stole a credit card from a house in the 500 block of Northeast 82nd Street on Oct. 1. The victim told police someone charged $100 on the card

A burglar broke into a house in the 5600 block of Northeast First Avenue while a man was inside sleeping on Oct. 1.

• NORTH MIAMI

A thief stole a BlackBerry and a video camera after breaking a window on a 1994 Honda Accord in the 1600 block of Northeast 135th Street between 7 a.m. Oct. 24 and 1 p.m. Oct. 25.

A thief stole an engine air filter and shroud and an air bag after breaking a door handle on a Chrysler 300 in the 2400 block of Northeast 135th Street between midnight Oct. 1 and midnight Oct. 6.

A thief stole all four 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels and tires off a Honda Accord and left the car mounted on a jack and a block in the 1400 block of Northeast 132nd Road between 11:30 a.m. Oct. 8 and 6 a.m. Oct. 9. The items were valued at $2,900.

A thief stole a weed eater and an edger together valued at $500 while the owner was doing lawn work at Miami Union Academy, 12600 NW Fourth Ave., between 11:30 a.m. and noon Oct. 11.

A thief stole a Cadillac Seville in the 12400 block of Northeast Seventh Avenue between 1 and 6 a.m. Oct. 13.

A burglar smashed a window and pulled out wires from the steering column on a 1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale in the 1300 block of Northeast 142nd Street between 8 p.m. Oct. 10 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 11.

• NORTH MIAMI BEACH

A thief stole a purse containing jewelry, checks, a Florida driver's license, an iPhone, a Social Security card, $400 cash and other items after breaking a window on a 2008 Audi in the 16300 block of Biscayne Boulevard between 8:30 and 10 p.m. Oct. 23. The iPhone, gold chain and purse were valued at $800. Damage was estimated at $500.

A burglar stole a 23-inch flat screen TV, jewelry, a purse, keys, a Nintendo game station, video games and a credit card together valued at $802 after breaking a door and ransacking a residence in the 1000 block of Northeast 153rd Terrace between 9:15 and 1 p.m. Oct. 23.

A vandal slashed a tire on a 2002 Honda CR-V in the 100 block of Northeast 169th Terrace between 3 p.m. Oct. 22 and 8 a.m. Oct. 23. Damage was estimated at $200.
