SWEETWATER AREA
Police say a 17-year-old Miami boy tried to steal ammunition from the Bass Pro Shop, 11551 NW 12th St., between 8:30 and 9 p.m. June 6. Police released the teen after questioning. The bullets were valued at $170.94.
UNIVERSITY PARK AREA
Police found a stolen 1995 Mazda at the corner of 114th Avenue and Southwest 32nd Street June 4 that had been stolen from the 3600 block of Southwest 114th Avenue. The ignition was found punched out. Damage was estimated at $200.
HORSE COUNTRY AREA
Police found a stolen 2008 Continental boat trailer and 2008 Sailfish boat in the 12500 block of Southwest 51st Street June 16. The boat and trailer had been reported stolen from Doral two days earlier. The thieves made off with the boat motor, five seats and a GPS. Damage was estimated at $31,000.
CORAL GABLES
Someone stole a new, 2008, 37-foot fishing boat from the waterway behind a residence in the 300 block of Arvida Parkway between 9 p.m. June 15 and 8 a.m. June 16. The vessel, which was being prepared for a trip to the Bahamas, was either towed or driven away.
Thieves made off with two large plants from large, yellow planters outside a business in the 100 block of Navarre Avenue between 11:30 a.m. June 15 and 11:30 a.m. June 16.
A thief stole a black bag with a computer after smashing a window on a 2006 Ford pickup in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn, 1350 S. Dixie Hwy., between 11 p.m. June 17 and 6:45 a.m. June 18.
SCHENLEY PARK AREA
A burglar stole a glass hooka, a laptop computer and a PlayStation after kicking in the front door at a house in the 6200 block of Southwest 39th Street between 8 and 11:30 a.m. June 5. The stolen items were valued at $550.
Burglars made off with two televisions and $1,400 after kicking in the front door of a house in the 6200 block of Southwest 38th Street between 7:45 a.m. and noon June 5. The televisions were valued at $1,600.
A burglar stole 50 packs of cigarettes after throwing a rock through a glass door at a Farm Store at 5885 SW 40th St. at 5 a.m. June 8. The cigarettes were valued at $200. Damage was estimated at $500.
A thief stole a trash container in the 3900 block of Southwest 59th Avenue at 8 p.m. June 8. The container was valued at $100.
SOUTH MIAMI
Police arrested a woman on a charge of theft after they said she tried to steal body wash and conditioner from CVS pharmacy, 5795 SW 72nd St., at 4:15 p.m. June 8.
A thief stole a 2003 Nissan valued at $18,000 in the 7500 block of Southwest 59th Avenue between June 6 and noon June 8.
LITTLE HAVANA
A thief stole a wallet from a woman's purse while she was shopping at a store at 3050 NW Seventh St. between noon and 1 p.m. April 11.
SILVER BLUFF ESTATES AREA
A thief made off with an air conditioning unit from a vacant house in the 2600 block of Southwest 21st Street May 23.
Someone stole a 24-pack of bottled water from the backyard of a house in the 2400 block of Southwest 21st Avenue between 4 p.m. May 13 and 6:30 a.m. May 14.
COCONUT GROVE
Thieves made off with a barbecue grill from the backyard of a house in the 3000 block of Day Avenue May 11.
A thief stole a firearm from a house in the 2500 block of Southwest 34th Avenue May 8.
A vandal took apart an air conditioner outside a vacant house in the 2900 block of Southwest 28th Lane May 13.
THE ROADS
A thief made off with a bicycle from a house in the 200 block of Southwest 22nd Street between 7:30 p.m. May 13 and 8 a.m. May 14.
A thief stole a city of Miami garbage can from a house in the First block of Southwest 30th Road May 9.
KEY BISCAYNE
A thief stole a pair of glasses valued at $400 and $25 from an unlocked car in the 200 block of Seaview Drive at 6:30 p.m. May 29.
DOWNTOWN MIAMI
Thieves made off with copper pipes from outside a church at 118 NE Second St. May 8.
Thieves broke into a construction site at 117 NE First Ave. between 10 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. May 15.
PINECREST
A thief pried open a lock on a 2007 Chevrolet in the 13500 block of South Dixie Highway, making off with a laptop computer, a GPS and computer accessories together valued at $2,000 between 5 and 5:45 p.m. June 6.
Thieves made off with 950 gallons of diesel fuel from a construction site at 8870 SW 63rd Ct. between 3:15 p.m. June 9 and 1:15 p.m. June 10.
PALMETTO BAY
A thief stole a 2008 Volvo in the 9000 block of Southwest 156th Street between 7:45 and 8 a.m. May 29.
A thief stole an iPod, two pairs of sunglasses and $60 from an unlocked 2008 Dodge Caravan in the 8500 block of Southwest 178th Street between 8:30 p.m. May 31 and midnight June 1. The stolen items were valued at $380.
EAST REDLAND
A burglar made off with jewelry valued at $10,000 after breaking a door at a house in the 21300 block of Southwest 129th Court at 1:45 p.m. June 3. Damage was estimated at $500.
A burglar broke the glass front door and ransacked a house in the 12900 block of Southwest 215th Terrace between 1:15 and 1:30 p.m. June 3. Damage was estimated at $400.
A burglar pried open a door at a house in the 21200 block of Southwest 129th Court, setting off the alarm between 6:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. June 3.
HOMESTEAD
A thief smashed a window on a 1991 Nissan Sentra in the 1700 block of Northeast Eighth Street, making off with a radio valued at $400 between 11 p.m. June 7 and 8 a.m. June 8.
