BLUE LAGOON AREA

A thief took a car entertainment system, an iPod and registration after breaking a window and side view mirror from a 1997 Chevrolet pickup in the 5700 block of Blue Lagoon Drive between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 10. The items were valued at $1,117.50.

A thief stole a television and subwoofer after prying open a door lock on a 2002 Ford F-350 in the 6700 block of Northwest Seventh Street between 2:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 9. The items were valued at $700. Damage was estimated at $100.

LITTLE HAVANA

A thief lifted a purse from a shopping cart in El Presidente Supermarket, 1895 SW Eighth St., on Oct. 14.

A thief pocketed a cellphone from the counter of a store at 1060 SW Eighth St. on Oct. 9.

SHENANDOAH

A thief stole a bicycle from a bike rack outside CVS pharmacy, 2500 SW 22nd St., on Oct. 6.

COCONUT GROVE

A thief stole a bicycle from a bike rack outside a gym at 2982 Grand Ave. on Oct. 4.

A thief took a boat from a marina at 3400 Pan American Dr. between Sept. 30 and Oct. 3.

THE ROADS

A thief stole a bicycle outside a house in the 100 block of Southwest 26th Road between 6:30 p.m. Oct. Oct. 2 and 9 a.m. Oct. 3.

FLAGAMI AREA

A thief went for 30 CDs after using a concrete block to break a window on a 1991 BMW 325i in the 1900 block of Southwest 74th Avenue Road between 6 and 6:15 a.m. Oct. 9. The CDs were valued at $360. Damage was estimated at $190.

A thief stole a camera and tools after breaking a window on a 2009 Honda Civic in the 9300 block of West Flagler Street between 10 p.m. Oct. 10 and 9 a.m. Oct. 11. The items were valued at $900. Damage was estimated at $200.

CORAL GABLES

Burglars stole a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a stove, a washer and dryer, three chandeliers, a crystal bowl and other items from a house undergoing renovation in the 1300 block of Alegriano Avenue between 4 p.m. Oct. 5 and 8:45 a.m. Oct. 6. The items were valued at $26,710. A neighbor told police he saw a white van quickly pulling away from the house about 11 p.m. Oct. 5.

A thief pocketed a dollar in change from an unlocked 2006 Infiniti in the 600 block of Minorca Avenue between 8 p.m. Oct. 6 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 7.

A burglar collected a jewelry box, gold watch, bracelet, two rings, an anklet, diamond earrings and a gold coin necklace after breaking a window at a house in the 1000 block of Obispo Avenue between 5 and 11 p.m. Oct. 9. The items were valued at $22,950.

A resident in the 1000 block of Bayamo Avenue called police after hearing an intruder in a second floor bedroom about 8 p.m. Oct. 9. The woman told police she heard the burglar, spotted a flashlight and then heard a two-way radio. Police later found a window in the bedroom pried open, along with footprints on a nearby desk and bunk bed. They suspect the burglar fled out the same window when he heard the resident, who also hit her alarm's panic button. Damage was estimated at $100.

A burglar stole three lamps, home accessories and linens valued at $25,000 from the Kreiss furniture store in the 2300 block of Salzedo Street between 5 p.m. Oct. 10 and 10 a.m. Oct. 12. Police were not sure how the burglar entered the store but found pins securing a front door secure missing. Several ceiling tiles were also moved. The burglar also left behind a profane note on the manager's desk calendar.

SOUTH MIAMI

Police arrested a man on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cocaine in the 5800 block of Southwest 72nd Street at 12:15 a.m. Oct. 9.
