• FLAGAMI AREA
A thief stole a 2008 Toyota Tundra in the 7900 block of Northwest Eighth Street between 9:45 p.m. July 7 and 6:30 a.m. July 8.
A thief stole a 2001 Yamaha motorcycle at the corner of 84th Avenue and West Flagler Street at 11 p.m. July 7.
A thief stole a 1986 Toyota Camry in the 7000 block of Southwest 24th Street between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. July 8.
• WEST MIAMI
A burglar tried to kick down the door of Master Dollar Discount, 2221 SW 67th Ave., between 11 and 11:15 p.m. July 14.
A thief smashed a window on a 2004 Mercedes-Benz in the 1300 block of Southwest 67th Avenue and made off with two foglight covers valued at $400 between 8 p.m. July 10 and 7 a.m. July 11.
• CORAL GABLES AREA
A thief stole a 2007 Chevrolet van in the 5800 block of Southwest 19th Street at 8:15 p.m. July 10.
• SCHENLEY PARK AREA
A thief stole a 2006 Ford F-150 in the 6600 block of Southwest 28th Street between 10:30 p.m. July 7 and 5:30 a.m. July 8.
• SOUTH MIAMI
Police arrested a man on a charge of theft after they said he tried to steal aftershave lotion, deodorant and petroleum jelly from CVS pharmacy, 5795 SW 72nd St., at 11:45 a.m. July 10.
A burglar smashed a window at a house in the 7800 block of Southwest 68th Avenue and stole a laptop computer and a wireless router together valued at $800 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. July 9.
A thief stole a 2007 Cadillac Escalade in the parking garage at the Shops at Sunset Place, 5701 SW 72nd St., between 8:30 p.m. June 30 and 10:45 p.m. July 1.
• BLUE LAGOON AREA
A thief stole a costume from a bag left in the lobby of the Hilton Miami Airport Hotel, 5101 Blue Lagoon Dr., at 4:15 p.m. July 13. The costume was valued at $389.
• KINLOCH PARK AREA
An intruder kicked in the front door of a home in the 4600 block of Southwest Fifth Terrace between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. June 20.
• LITTLE HAVANA
A thief removed wooden boards from underneath a storage area and broke into a room in the 1300 block of West Flagler Street on June 20.
A burglar broke into an apartment in the 1900 block of Southwest 10th Street on June 16. The victim told police when he arrived home he found the thief inside his apartment. The thief ran away after seeing the victim.
A burglar broke into a business at 845 SW 14th Ave. after forcing open a wooden gate on June 17.
Someone ransacked five floors of a building under construction at 420 SW 12th Ave. between 3:30 p.m. June 18 and 6:30 a.m. June 19.
Thieves made off with tools valued at $6000 were stolen from a house under construction in the 2700 block of Southwest 12th Street between 2 and 7 a.m. June 21.
A burglar broke into a construction site at 420 SW 12th Ave. after jumping a fence on June 23.
• COCONUT GROVE
A thief stole tools from two meal boxes at a construction site at 2650 SW 28th Ln. between June 13 and June 16.
• KEY BISCAYNE
A thief stole several cases of beer valued at $150 from the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, 455 Grand Bay Dr., between 5 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. July 6.
A thief stole a beige and black golf cart in the 200 block of Crandon Boulevard between 10:30 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. July 14.
A thief stole blank checks from a house in the 500 block of Crandon Boulevard at noon July 7. Two of the checks were cashed at a Washington Mutual Bank, one for $4,700 and the other for $6,500.
• SWEETWATER AREA
A thief stole a 1999 Freightliner truck in the 100 block of Northwest 137th Avenue between noon June 27 and noon July 4.
• TAMIAMI PARK AREA
A thief stole a 2008 Ford Expedition in the 200 block of Southwest 132nd Avenue between 11 p.m. July 7 and 2:45 a.m. July 8.
• UNIVERSITY PARK AREA
A thief stole a 1996 Ford Taurus in the 1400 block of Southwest 107th Avenue between 8 and 11 a.m. July 12.
• WESTCHESTER
A thief stole a 1991 Ford at the corner of Southwest 96th Avenue and 32nd Street between 7 p.m. July 3 and 4 p.m. July 7.
A thief stole a 2008 Hummer at the corner of Southwest 87th Avenue and 32nd Street at 3 a.m. June 25.
A thief stole a 2007 Honda Accord in the 8300 block of Southwest 34th Terrace between 8:30 p.m. July 9 and 6:15 a.m. July 10.
• PINECREST
A thief stole an iPod and a briefcase together valued at $450 from a 2008 Audi in the 6800 block of Southwest 101st Street between 7 p.m. July 7 and 8 p.m. July 8.
• PINECREST AREA
A thief stole two televisions and a GPS after breaking a window on a 2007 Chrysler in the 10700 block of Old Cutler Road between 3 and 7:30 a.m. July 7. The stolen items were valued at $1,900. Damage was estimated at $100.
• FAIRWAY HEIGHTS
A burglar stole a watch, Wii, Xbox and television after shattering a sliding glass door at a house in the 11300 block of Southwest 155th Street between 2 p.m. July 4 and 2:15 p.m. July 8. The stolen items were valued at $5,000. Damage was estimated at $350.
• GOULDS PARK AREA
Thieves stole a trailer containing three lawn mowers, three edgers and four weed-eaters after cutting a gate lock at a house in the 23100 block of Southwest 123rd Road between 11 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. July 7. The stolen items were valued at $6,350. Damage was estimated at $20.
