• FLAGAMI AREA

A thief stole a computer bag, an overnight bag and clothes after breaking a door lock on a 2003 Cadillac Escalade at the corner of 79th Avenue and West Flagler Street between 2:15 and 2:45 p.m. May 1. The stolen items were valued at $400. Damage was estimated at $150.

• WEST MIAMI

A thief drove away with a 2004 Mercedes-Benz valued at $48,000 from a house in the 1800 block of Southwest 63rd Avenue between 11:45 p.m. May 2 and 7:30 a.m. May 3.

• CORAL GABLES

A man with a knife robbed a man taking out the trash in the alley behind his home in the 200 block of Cadima Avenue at 1:45 p.m. April 30. The robber approached the man from behind and demanded his wallet. When the man turned around, the robber pulled out a kitchen knife and pressed it close to the victim's body. The robber got away.

Burglars kicked in the front door of a house in the 1400 block of Obispo Avenue, making off with antique jewelry including a Rolex watch between 2 and 2:15 p.m. May 1. The burglars also made off with clothes, money and a plasma television. A neighbor called police after spotting a white BMW SUV parked outside of the house, the front door wide open, and an unknown man and woman walking in and out of the house. When police arrived, the burglars were gone.

• CORAL GABLES AREA

A thief stole two bags, a book, a camera, clothes and makeup from a 2006 Lincoln in the 2400 block of Southwest 58th Avenue between 10 a.m. and noon April 30. The stolen items were valued at $1,320.

• LITTLE GABLES

A thief stole a purse, credit cards and $60 from a 2003 Honda LX at the corner of 42nd Avenue and Southwest Eighth Street at 11 p.m. May 5. The stolen items were valued at $338.

• SOUTH MIAMI

A man snatched a purse containing a cellphone, a passport, debit cards and $100 cash from a woman walking in the 7000 block of Southwest 59th Place at 11:45 p.m. May 1.

• BLUE LAGOON AREA

A thief made off with a GPS and DVD player after breaking a window on a 2006 Chrysler in the 5800 block of Blue Lagoon Drive between 8 p.m. April 30 and 6:30 a.m. May 1. The stolen items were valued at $500. Damage was estimated at $300.

A thief stole a GPS after breaking a window on a 2008 Hyundai in the 5500 block of Blue Lagoon Drive between 6 p.m. April 30 and 8:30 a.m. May 1. The GPS was valued at $250. Damage was estimated at $125.

A thief broke a window on a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu in the 5800 block of Blue Lagoon Drive between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. May 1 Damage was estimated at $100.

• KINLOCH PARK AREA

A thief tried to steal five packs of gum from a store at 222 NW 37th Ave. at 6:15 p.m. March 27.

• LITTLE HAVANA

A thief stole a garbage can outside the front of a house in the 2200 block of West Flagler Street at 8 p.m. March 28. The victim told police he heard a loud noise, went outside and found the garbage can missing.

A man riding a bicycle snatched a woman's purse off a passenger seat after reaching into her car window while she was waiting at the intersection of Southwest 37th Avenue and West Flagler Street March 31.

A thief stole property from outside a house in the 2000 block of West Flagler Street between 7 p.m. April 4 and 9:30 a.m. April 5.

• EAST LITTLE HAVANA

Someone broke into a trailer at a construction site at 90 SW Third St. between 5 p.m. April 2 and 6 a.m. April 3. Damage was estimated at $ 21,150.
