MIAMI BEACH
A thief rifled through a 2006 BMW in the 300 block of Ocean Drive after breaking a window between 3 p.m. Nov. 2 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 3.
A thief stole a satellite radio system and an iPod adapter, together valued at $150, after smashing a window on a 2004 Suzuki in the 600 block of Meridian Avenue between 10 a.m. Nov. 2 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 3.
A gunman kidnapped and robbed a man as he was leaving the BP gas station, 945 Fifth St., at 3 a.m. Nov. 1. The victim said he was pulling out from a pump when one man jumped into his car through the passenger side and pointed a black semi-automatic handgun to his said, saying ''Do as I say or I'll kill you.'' The gunman then told the victim to drive west on the McArthur Causeway. When they passed Parrot Jungle Island, the victim asked where they were going and the gunman punched him in the mouth several times. The victim said they then got off an exit on I-95 North but didn't recall which one and that he noticed they were followed by a cream-colored and burgundy Nissan Altima. The victim and gunman then drove up to a residence and parked by a tree before the robber took his wallet and knocked him unconscious. The victim later woke up beside his car and walked to a pay phone in the 8100 block of North Miami Avenue, where he called police.
SURFSIDE
Police arrested a 44-year-old man on a charge of possession of narcotics in the 9400 block of Harding Avenue on Oct. 28.
A thief stole a bicycle from a home in the 9200 block of Carlyle Avenue between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Oct. 23.
NORTH BAY VILLAGE
A group of boys on bicycles snatched a woman's iPod as she was walking in the 1300 block of 79th Street at 4:45 p.m. Nov. 2. The woman said the kids rode by, grabbed her iPod and kept riding away. The iPod was valued at $279.
OVERTOWN
A thief stole a woman's wallet from her purse while she was waiting for a bus at a stop in the 800 block of Northwest Seventh Street on Sept. 25.
Thieves stole a trailer outside a house in the 500 block of Northwest 19th Avenue on Sept. 29.
WYNWOOD
Someone vandalized the traffic lights at the intersection of Northwest 10th Avenue and 39th Street on Oct. 2.
A burglar ransacked a house in the 1100 block of Northwest 34th Street between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 14.
A burglar pried the front window of a business at 3111 N. Miami Ave. between 6 p.m. Oct. 13 and 8:15 a.m. Oct. 14.
Burglars stole a guitar, money and a computer from a house in the 2200 block of Northeast Fourth Avenue on Oct. 11.
LITTLE HAITI
A burglar ransacked a house in the 300 block of Northwest 40th Street between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 13.
A thief stole copper tubing from an air conditioner outside of a business at 258 NW 57th St. on Oct. 11.
A burglar pried open the front door of a business at 310 NW 71st St. on Oct. 11.
A burglar stole beer, a coffee grinder and a toaster after smashing a window of a business at 4500 NW Second Ave. on Oct. 12.
SUNNY ISLES BEACH
A burglar threw a rock and smashed the front glass window of D'Europa Furniture, 18660 Collins Ave., between 12:45 and 1 a.m. Oct. 20. The burglar tried to steal a flat-screen television but left it behind once he realized it was a fake prop.
Police arrested a 32-year-old man on a charge of theft after he shoplifted merchandise valued at $134.17 at CVS pharmacy, 16850 Collins Ave., at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 22.
