• MIAMI BEACH

A gunman robbed a man walking with another man at South Pointe Drive and Collins Avenue at 10 p.m. Nov. 1. The victim said a man approached pointing a silver automatic gun and demanding money. When the victim said he did not have a wallet, the robber reached into his front pocket, took his cellphone valued at $200 and then jumped into a waiting burgundy four-door sedan and sped away.

A thief stole a bicycle valued at $800 in the parking lot of an apartment building in the 7600 block of Dickens Avenue between 6 p.m. Oct. 31 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 1.

A thief stole a 1997 GMC van in the 1300 block of 14th Terrace between 8 p.m. Nov. 1 and 8 a.m. Nov. 2.

A thief stole loose change and CDs from a 2003 BMW in the 1700 block of Washington Avenue between 11 p.m. Nov. 1 and 10 a.m. Nov. 2.

A thief stole a tourist's credit cards and driver's license from the safe in her hotel room at the St. Augustine Hotel, 347 Washington Ave., between 6 p.m. Oct. 31 and 11 a.m. Nov. 2.

Someone punched out a door lock on a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban in the 6800 block of Abbott Avenue between 1 a.m. and noon Nov. 2. Damage was estimated at $500.

A thief stole a GPS valued at $250 after breaking a window on a 2009 Dodge Caravan in the 900 block of Lincoln Lane South on Nov. 2.

A thief stole a 1998 Ford Explorer in the 8500 block of Collins Avenue between 6 p.m. Oct. 31 and noon Nov. 2.

• BAL HARBOUR

A thief stole a saw and a cutter from a home in the 100 block of Bal Bay Drive between 4 and 5:30 p.m. between Sept. 1 and Sept. 15.

A thief stole a purse from a car in the 10200 block of Collins Avenue between 10:40 a.m and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 14.

Police arrested a 38-year-old man on a charge of theft after store security said he shoplifted merchandise at Saks Fifth Avenue, 9700 Collins Ave., on Oct. 18.

• NORTH BAY VILLAGE

A thief stole a 2007 Toyota Camry in the 1800 block of South Treasure Drive between 8:30 p.m. Oct. 31 and 10:15 a.m. Nov. 2.

• DOWNTOWN MIAMI

A burglar broke into a business at 50 NE 11th St. on Sept. 30.

• OVERTOWN

A thief stole a bicycle from a house in the 400 block of Northwest Second Avenue on Sept. 26.

Someone stole a wallet left on the counter of a store at 1170 NW Seventh Ave. on Sept. 29. The owner said a surveillance video recorded the thief stealing the wallet.

A thief stole a welding machine from a business at 528 NW Seventh Ave. between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 3 and Oct. 6.

• LITTLE HAITI

A thief broke into a house in the First block of Northwest 72nd Street after forcing open a garage door between 5 p.m. Sept. 15 and 9 a.m. Sept. 16.

A burglar broke into a business at 4850 NW Second Ave. after breaking a door lock on Sept. 17.

A burglar broke into a house in the 1000 block of Northwest 45th Street and stole a bicycle and a television on Sept. 21.

• SUNNY ISLES BEACH

A thief stole a Florida tag and decal off a 2001 Hyundai in the 17300 block of Collins Avenue between midnight Oct. 14 and noon Oct. 17.

A thief stole a 2003 Hyundai valued at $3,500 outside the Newport Beachside Resort, 16701 Collins Ave., on Oct. 16.

A burglar stole eight watches and other jewelry together valued at $13,500 after drilling a hole in the front door lock and breaking into an apartment in the 19300 block of Collins Avenue between 8:30 a.m. Oct. 7 and 12:15 a.m. Oct. 8.
