MIAMI BEACH
A thief stole a 22-inch plasma television and a laptop computer together valued at $1,700 after breaking a bathroom window of an apartment in the 1900 block of Washington Avenue between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 30 and 3:15 a.m. Oct. 31.
A thief stole a 2007 Hummer H3 in the 1600 block of West Avenue between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31 and 2 a.m. Nov. 1.
A thief stole a 2006 Honda in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue between 12:30 and 2:45 p.m. Nov. 1.
A thief stole a camera memory stick, sunglasses and a GPS together valued at $700 after smashing a window on a 2004 Toyota Sienna in the 700 block of Lenox Court between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Nov. 1. Damage was estimated at $200.
A vandal slashed the convertible roof top on a 2004 Nissan in the 1400 block of Drexel Avenue between 2:30 and 8 a.m. Nov. 1.
A burglar smashed a window on a rear door and broke into an apartment in the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue between 2 p.m. Oct. 31 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 1. When the man returned home, he found blood in the bathroom and living room but no items missing.
A thief stole jewelry, a cellphone and sunglasses together valued at $3,500 after breaking into a Nissan SUV in the 400 block of 14th Street between 1 and 5 a.m. Nov. 1.
NORTH BAY VILLAGE
A vandal scratched and poured paint all over a car in the 1800 block of South Treasure Drive between 1 and 7 a.m. Nov. 5. Police said they found a trail of paint leading to an apartment but when they knocked on the door, no one answered.
OVERTOWN
A thief stole a woman's purse while she was at a bus stop in the first block of Northwest Ninth Street on Sept. 25.
WYNWOOD
A thief stole copper wiring from the electrical poles behind a business at 1101 NW 22nd St. on Sept. 24.
LITTLE HAITI
A thief stole a wallet from a work site at the corner of Northwest Second Avenue and 71st Street on Oct. 3.
A thief stole tools from a storage container behind a house in the 5600 block of Northwest Second Avenue on Sept. 30.
SUNNY ISLES BEACH
A thief stole a man's shoulder bag with $300 cash, a camera and equipment together valued at $3,000 after he left it in the pool area of the Newport Beachside Resort, 16701 Collins Ave., between noon and 12:15 p.m. Oct. 25.
A burglar forced open the door to the pool bar at the Newport Beachside Resort, 16701 Collins Ave., at 5 a.m. Oct. 28. A security guard found the door forced open and a garbage can filled with liquor left behind the pool area.
AVENTURA
A thief smashed a side-view mirror on a 2000 Mitsubishi outside Bloomingdale's, 19555 Biscayne Blvd., Oct. 25. The victim said before she parked her car, she had gotten into an argument with another woman over a parking space. When she returned to her car, she found the damage.
A man shoplifted a pair of sunglasses valued at $410 from Solstice, 19501 Biscayne Blvd., between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25.
UNINCORPORATED MIAMI-DADE
A burglar stole two televisions, eight gold chains, a laptop computer and seven watches after prying open a back door at a house in the 17500 block of Northeast Fourth Avenue between
8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 22. The items were valued at $19,600. Damage was estimated at $100.
A thief stole a book bag, five books and a school identification card from a 2001 Ford Escape at the corner of Northeast Sixth Avenue and 150th Street between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Oct. 22. The items were valued at $340.
A thief stole two doors and a hood from a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu after breaking a window in the 14100 block of Northeast Third Court between 11 p.m. Oct. 20 and
5 a.m. Oct. 21. The items were valued at $2,000. Damage was estimated at $300.
A thief stole a driver's license, Social Security card and other identification cards after breaking a window on a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder in the 16200 block of Northwest Second Avenue between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 21. The items were valued at $110. Damage was estimated at $200.
A burglar tried to pry open a sliding glass door at a house in the 400 block of Northeast 108th Street between 6:15 a.m. Oct. 16 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20. Damage was estimated at $50.
