MIAMI BEACH
Police arrested a 41-year-old man on a charge of theft and criminal mischief at CVS, 306 Lincoln Rd., after store security said they saw him rip tags off a hat and open and use a deodorant at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 22. The items were valued at $11.
A thief stole a radio and CD player valued at $150 after smashing a window on a 2001 Ford Focus in the 1200 block of Eighth Street between 7 p.m. Sept. 20 and 10 a.m. Sept. 22.
A thief stole the mirrors valued at $100 off a scooter in the 2100 block of Bay Drive between 10 p.m. Sept. 21 and 10 a.m. Sept. 22.
A thief stole a 2001 Mercedes-Benz in the 1400 block of Drexel Avenue between 8 p.m. Sept. 21 and noon Sept. 22.
A thief stole a bicycle valued at $315 outside an apartment in the 1600 block of Drexel Avenue between 8 p.m. Sept. 22 and 12:30 a.m. Sept. 23.
A thief stole a laptop computer valued at $1,000 from a 2006 Pontiac Solstice in the 1100 block of Collins Avenue between 5 and 8 a.m. Sept. 22.
Police arrested a 25-year-old man on charges of indecent exposure and resisting without violence after he was seen running naked in the 1300 block of Alton Court and yelling obscenities at 4 a.m. Sept. 22. Police said after they arrested him, he began pulling and kicking them until officers pepper sprayed him.
A man broke into an apartment in the 500 block of 16th Street and stole two laptop computers valued at $2,200 at 3 p.m. Sept. 22. The owner returned home and walked into his apartment and found a man trying to take his television. When he confronted the burglar, the man ran outside. The victim began chasing the man but stopped after the burglar yelled he would pull out a gun.
A thief stole a 1993 Nissan Quest in the 1100 block of Alton Road between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 22. Police found the car with its ignition punched out in the 3200 block of Northwest 38th St.
OVERTOWN
A burglar forced open the front door of an apartment in the 1400 block of Northwest First Avenue between 1:30 and 3 p.m. Aug. 20.
A burglar broke into an apartment in the 600 block of Northwest Third Street on Aug. 21.
WYNWOOD
Someone stole copper tubing from an air conditioning unit behind La Bonita Grocery store, 3300 N. Miami Ave., between 6 p.m. Aug. 18 and 9 a.m. Aug. 19.
LITTLE HAITI
A thief made off with two laptop computers from a house in the 500 block of Northwest 55th Terrace between 3:30 p.m. Aug. 19 and 1:30 a.m. Aug. 20.
A thief stole a car in front of house in the 7700 block of Northwest Seventh Avenue between 7:30 a.m. Aug. 20 and 8:45 a.m. Aug. 21.
A burglar pried open the front door of a house in the 100 block of Northwest 49th Street on Aug. 21.
UPPER EASTSIDE
A burglar broke into a building in the 100 block of Northeast 79th Street after prying a door between Aug. 20 and Aug. 21.
SUNNY ISLES BEACH
A vandal inserted an unknown objected into the key holes on the front and side doors of One Stop Medical Supplies, 16850 Collins Ave., between 6 p.m. Sept. 5 and 10:45 a.m. Sept. 6. Damage was estimated at $450.
A thief stole a man's wallet after he left it on a bar in the poolside area at Newport Beachside Resort, 16701 Collins Ave., between 5 p.m. Sept. 3 and 1:15 p.m. Sept. 4.
A thief stole an iPod valued at $500 from a 2007 Acura valet parked at the Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort, 18001 Collins Ave., between 9:45 p.m. Sept. 6 and 2:45 a.m. Sept. 7.
