A thief stole sunglasses and a knife together valued at $320 after popping a door lock on a 2007 Cadillac outside Barnes & Noble, 18711 Biscayne Blvd., between 10 and 10:45 p.m. Sept. 12.

A thief stole sunglasses, a GPS and a radar detector together valued at $850 after smashing a window on a 2007 Mazda in the 3300 block of Northeast 191st Street between 12:45 and 1 a.m. Sept. 13.

A thief stole sports equipment, an amplifier and a car battery jump kit together valued at $380 after breaking into a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse in the garage outside Bloomingdale's, 19555 Biscayne Blvd., between 9:45 p.m. Sept. 12 and 1 a.m. Sept. 13.

A thief stole a makeup bag valued at $20 after smashing a window on a 2008 Mazda in the 3300 block of Northeast 191st Street between 6:15 p.m. Sept. 12 and 9 a.m. Sept. 13.

A thief stole a digital camera valued at $129 from a display shelf at Wolf Camera and Image, 19525 Biscayne Blvd., between 7 and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 12.

A thief stole a woman's wallet with a Florida driver's license, credit cards and $100 cash from a 2005 Hyundai at the Mobil gas station, 19055 Biscayne Blvd., between 3 and 3:45 p.m. Sept. 13.

• SUNNY ISLES BEACH

A thief stole car parts valued at $1,125 after smashing a window on a 2003 Mercedes-Benz in the 18400 block of Collins Avenue between 2 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 3.

A vandal cut the brake cables and the starter of a 2006 Honda CBR motorcycle at Oceanview Condominiums, 19370 Collins Ave., on Aug. 2.

A thief stole clothes valued at $300 after smashing a window on a 2007 Honda Civic in the 17500 block of Collins Avenue between 10:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Aug. 1.

• NORTH MIAMI BEACH

A thief stole a GPS and a radar detector together valued at $460 after shattering a window on a 1992 Infiniti in the 2800 block of Northeast 163rd Street between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 13 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 14.

Someone fired shots at the rear wall of Styxx, 15346 W. Dixie Hwy., at 4:30 a.m. Sept. 16. Police found nine .40 caliber shell casing in the parking lot along the rear wall of the business.

Police arrested three teenage boys on charges of strong arm robbery after a woman said they tried to rob her at the corner of Northeast 17th Avenue and 170th Street at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 15. The woman said four to five males surrounded her and tried to take her cellphone. She said when she stepped back and screamed she would call police, they rode off on their bicycles. Miami-Dade police said they later found three of the robbers and arrested them after the victim identified them.

A vandal broke a door lock on a 1999 Toyota Camry in the 1700 block of South Glades Drive between 2 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sept. 12.

A thief stole a 2001 Acura in the 1100 block of Northeast 176th Terrace between 6:30 p.m. Sept. 15 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 16.

• UNINCORPORATED MIAMI-DADE

A thief stole electrical equipment after breaking a door lock on a 2005 Chevrolet Express in the 10100 block of Northeast 163rd Street between 3 and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 2. The items were valued at $2,500. Damage was estimated at $100.

A burglar stole a television, two laptop computers, jewelry and $4,000 after forcing open the kitchen door at a house in the 100 block of Northeast 193rd Street between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sept. 2. The items were valued at $8,400.
