AVENTURA
Police arrested a 25-year-old man on a charge of driving without a valid license after they said they stopped him for an improper lane change and driving with a cracked front windshield in the 19100 block of Biscayne Boulevard at
4:45 a.m. Oct. 17.
A thief stole a Coach ladies wallet valued at $190 from a man's shopping bag while he was at Aventura Mall, 19501 Biscayne Blvd., between 2:15 and
4 p.m. Oct. 24.
Police arrested a 29-year-old woman on a charge of driving with a suspended license after they said they stopped her for stopping in the middle of an intersection at Northeast 187th Street and Biscayne Boulevard at 12;15 a.m. Oct. 27. Police said a check showed her license was suspended nine times.
NORTH MIAMI BEACH
A burglar stole a 32-inch LCD television and a computer CPU after breaking into a residence in the 15600 block of Northeast 10th Court between 6 p.m. Oct. 18 and 8:30 a.m.
Oct. 20.
A burglar stole a laptop computer, a Nintendo DS together valued at $1,500 and $35 cash after smashing a bedroom window and ransacking a residence in the 16800 block of Northeast Fourth Avenue between 3:30 and 5 p.m. Oct. 27.
A burglar stole jewelry, a laptop computer and a DVD player after breaking a bedroom window and ransacking a residence in the 1100 block of Northeast 152nd Terrace between 7 and 11:15 a.m. Oct. 23. The items were valued at $2,075.
A thief stole a purse containing a wallet, credit cards and identification cards after smashing a window on a 2003 Infiniti in the 16800 block of Northeast 22nd Avenue between
4:15 and 4:45 p.m. Oct. 22. The purse was valued at $130.
A burglar stole a suitcase, documents, U.S. passports, jewelry, checks and other items together valued at $6,459 after entering through a rear window and ransacking a residence in the 1500 block of Northeast 174th Street between 6:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Oct. 22.
A burglar tried to break into a jewelry store at 14390 Biscayne Blvd. after cutting open the roof between 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 21 and 10:30 a.m. Oct. 22.
A thief stole a purse containing a Maryland driver's license, credit cards and $500 cash after popping a lock on a 1995 Ford Mustang in the 16300 block of Biscayne Boulevard between
6 and 11:45 p.m. Oct. 21.
A man robbed a woman waiting at a bus stop in the 16200 block of Northeast 15th Avenue at 10:45 a.m.
Oct. 22. The woman said a man in a Nissan Altima pulled up and asked her if she need a ride. When she refused, the man got out of the car, snatched her purse and sped away.
SUNNY ISLES BEACH
A thief stole a police radio and an American Express card from a city of Miami car valet parked at the Sands Pointe Condominium, 16711 Collins Ave., between 6 and 7 p.m. Oct. 23. The radio was valued at $3,000.
A vandal scratched a 2004 Nissan 350Z in the 19300 block of Collins Avenue between
1 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Oct. 24. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
A thief stole a Florida license plate off a 2007 Toyota in the 17500 block of Collins Avenue between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 22.
A thief stole a Florida license plate off a car at Ocean 3 condominiums, 18911 Collins Ave., between midnight and 11:45 p.m. Oct. 8.
UNINCORPORATED MIAMI-DADE
A vandal broke two windows on a 2006 Chrysler in the 100 block of Northwest 167th Street between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 19 and 10:15 a.m. Oct. 20. Damage was estimated at $100.
