Bring pet to Aventura's Bar Rosso, help a good cause

Bar Rosso is hosting two dog friendly Halloween events this week to help raise money for local causes.

On Thursday, The Culture Club at Bar Rosso helps out the Humane Society of Broward County with A Bark To Remember from 7 to 10 p.m.

The event will feature wine tastings, live music, and the restaurant's collection of art.

The Culture Club is a network of professionals ages 25 to 55 dedicated to raising funds and awareness for different not-for-profit organizations that have been affected by the economy.

Cost is $10.

On Friday, the eatery, at 19004 NE 29th Ave., hosts the Howl-o-ween bash to benefit the American Cancer Society from 8 to 11 p.m. Hosted by local entertainer Adora, the event will feature contests, prizes and music. Tickets include a complimentary drink ticket and gourmet treats for dogs. Guests and their dogs are invited to attend the event in costume.

Cost is $25 per person; dogs are free. Organizers ask that partygoers bring dogs that weigh less than 25 pounds.
