AVENTURA

Police arrested a 32-year-old woman on a charge of criminal mischief at the Del Vista guard gate, 20499 NE 34th Ave., after police said she drove her car through the gate after the guard wouldn't let her in at 5 a.m. Oct. 17.

A thief stole an iPod and $50 cash after popping a lock on a 2007 Dodge Charger outside Aventura Mall, 19501 Biscayne Blvd., between 4:45 and 7 p.m. Oct. 18.

Police arrested a 52-year-old man on a charge of theft at Walgreens, 18665 Biscayne Blvd., after store security said the man hid 20 items valued at $242 down his pants at 5:15 p.m. Oct. 17.

SUNNY ISLES BEACH

A man in the 18500 block of Collins Avenue called police and said another man forced his way inside his apartment, threw garlic bread at his face, pushed him and took of with his wallet at 3:45 p.m. Oct. 2. Police said the victim appeared drunk when he was making the report.

NORTH MIAMI BEACH

A thief stole a GPS valued at $300 after breaking into a 2000 Lincoln Navigator in the 1700 block of Northeast 169th Street between midnight and 4 p.m. Oct. 6.

UNINCORPORATED MIAMI-DADE

A burglar broke a window and door at a house in the 1600 block of Northeast 110th Street and searched a bedroom between 9:45 a.m. Sept. 29 and midnight Sept. 30. Damage was estimated at $200.

A burglar pried open a door on a 1995 Toyota Camry in the 1000 block of Northwest 145th Street and ransacked the interior between 1:45 and 2 a.m. Sept. 30. Damage was estimated at $50.

A thief stole a GPS, a cellphone and vehicle registration after smashing a window on a 2005 Dodge Caravan in the 15700 block of Northwest Second Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Sept. 29 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 30. The items were valued at $251. Damage was estimated at $400.

A thief stole a plumbing snake and drill from an unlocked 1997 Ford van in the 1200 block of Northeast 112th Street between 7 a.m. Sept. 28 and 5 a.m. Sept. 30. The items were valued at $1,600.

A thief stole a car television and bracelet after smashing a window on a 2002 Ford Explorer in the 7900 block of Biscayne River Drive between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 29 and 8 a.m. Sept. 30. The items were valued at $1,300. Damage was estimated at $100.

A thief stole an iPod, a cellphone and cargo net from a 2006 Honda Element in the 19100 block of Northeast 25th Avenue between 8:30 p.m. Sept. 29 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 30. The items were valued at $385.

BAL HARBOUR

A thief stole a man's cellphone while he was at Bal Harbour Shops, 9700 Collins Ave., at 4:15 p.m. Oct. 19. The cellphone was valued at $200.

A man stuffed seven pairs of jeans valued at $1,540 into a shopping bag and left Saks Fifth Avenue, 9700 Collins Ave., without paying at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 2.

Someone stole a watch valued at $4,200 from the Roberto Cavalli store in Bal Harbour Shops, 9700 Collins Ave., between 5 and 5:15 p.m. Oct. 8.

Police arrested a 56-year-old woman on a charge of theft at Saks Fifth Avenue, 9700 Collins Ave., after police said she took a dress valued at $145 into a fitting room where she hid the item in her handbag at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 26.

BAY HARBOR ISLANDS

Someone damaged a man's car in the 9200 block of East Bay Harbor Drive at 7 p.m. Oct. 13.

A vandal slashed two tires on a car in the 1600 block of 96th Street at 11 p.m. Oct. 23.
