A burglar damaged the door of an apartment in the 17100 block of North Bay Road between 8:45 and 4:15 p.m. Oct. 12.

A burglar stole $220 from a woman's purse and $160 from another woman's wallet in their hotel room at the Ramada Marco Polo resort, 19201 Collins Ave., between 1 and 9:45 p.m. Oct. 12.

A thief stole two backpacks and a purse valued at $50 after breaking a window on a Hyundai Accent in the 16500 block of Collins Avenue between 5:45 and 6:45 p.m. Oct. 9.

A thief stole a man's backpack after he fell asleep on the beach in the 18500 block of Collins Avenue between 3:30 and 4 p.m. Oct. 10.

• NORTH MIAMI BEACH

A thief stole a wallet containing a Florida driver's license and credit cards after shattering a window on a 1994 Toyota in the 1700 block of South Glades Drive between 7 p.m. Oct. 5 and 10 a.m. Oct. 6.

A burglar stole a pistol valued at $350 after breaking into a 2004 Dodge Caravan in the 1400 block of Northeast 171st Street between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 and 11:30 a.m. Oct. 6.

• UNINCORPORATED MIAMI-DADE

A thief tried to pry open a window on a 2005 Infiniti in the 15700 block of Northwest 10th Court, but fled when the owner approached him at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 30. Damage was estimated at $100.

A thief stole a purse, two wallets, credit cards, a drivers license and cell phone after breaking a window on a 2005 Ford Mustang while the owner was tending to a grave at Dade Memorial Park in the 1300 block of Opa-locka Boulevard between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Sept. 30. The items were valued at $456. Damage was estimated at $200.

A thief stole a laptop computer from an apartment in the 8000 block of North Miami Court between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sept. 30. The laptop was valued at $800.

A vandal broke a window on a 2009 Lexus in the 1800 block of Northeast Miami Gardens Drive between 4 and 6 p.m. Sept. 30. Damage was estimated at $200.

A burglar stole a computer, four watches, two bracelets, a charm and $4,500 after breaking a kitchen window at a house in the 100 block of Northeast 173rd Street between 6:30 and 10:10 p.m. Sept. 30. The items were valued at $5,950. Damage to the window and a sliding glass door was estimated at $1,000.

• NORTH BAY VILLAGE

A vandal threw a glass bottle and shattered a window on a 1994 Mazda in the 1800 block of 79th Street between 2:30 and 3 a.m. Oct. 1. Damage was estimated at $200.

A woman stole a man's watch and cash after he met her at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach and brought her back to his apartment in the 7900 block of Harbor Island Drive between 6:15 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5. The man said they shared a few cocktails and fell asleep. When he woke up later, the woman, and his belongings, were gone.

Burglars stole a refrigerator, a microwave oven, a sofa and tools together from a condominium at 7501 E. Treasure Dr. between 1 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 5.

• MIAMI BEACH

A burglar smashed a window on a 2008 Suzuki in the 100 block of 34th Street and stole a bag at 2:30 a.m. Oct. 7.

A thief stole a laptop computer and a flat screen TV together valued at $700 after smashing a window on a 2000 Hyundai Sonata in the 2700 block of Indian Creek Drive between 2 and 10:30 p.m. Oct. 6.

Vandals spray-painted graffiti on the bridge between Byron and Crespi avenues on 85th Street between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 6.

A burglar smashed a window and ransacked a 2008 Honda Element in the 100 block of 30th Street between 5:45 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 6.

A burglar stole a 40-inch LCD TV and a DirecTV box together valued at $1,400 after removing a sliding glass door of a residence in the 1600 block of 71st Street between 10 a.m. Sept. 26 and 10 a.m. Oct. 5.

A thief stole an iPhone, an iPhone Touch, an iPod speaker, a Louis Vuitton purse, a backpack and face cream together valued at $3,290 after smashing a window on a 2000 Land Rover Discovery in the 7200 block of Collins Avenue between 11 and 11:45 a.m. Oct. 5.

A thief stole a 2006 Toyota Corolla in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at 10:45 p.m. Oct. 5.
