AVENTURA
Police arrested two women on charges of grand theft at Bloomingdale's, 19555 Biscayne Blvd., after store security said they saw the women remove tags from clothes valued at $2,785 at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 1.
A thief stole a bicycle valued at $1,400 from a 2008 GMC Sierra van outside Nordstrom, 19507 Biscayne Blvd., between 10:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Oct. 3.
SUNNY ISLES BEACH
A thief stole a 2009 Toyota Camry outside the Newport Beachside Resort, 16701 Collins Ave., between 5 p.m. Oct. 4 and
5 p.m. Oct. 5. The car was valued at $27,000.
A thief stole a GPS valued at $200 after breaking a window on a 2004 Honda Element in the 100 block of Kings Point Drive between 7 p.m. Oct. 5 and 8 a.m. Oct. 6.
A thief stole a GPS valued at $200 after breaking a window on a 2001 Jaguar in the 300 block of Bayview Drive between 8 p.m. Oct. 5 and 10 a.m. Oct. 6.
A burglar stole jewelry valued at $800 and $600 cash from a safe after breaking into an apartment in the 18200 block of Collins Avenue between 9 a.m. Sept. 8 and 11 p.m. Oct. 5.
A burglar stole two framed diplomas, two family portraits and ski clothes together valued at $5,000 after breaking into a storage unit at 16051 Collins Ave., between 8 a.m. Sept. 30 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4.
Burglars stole two flat screen TVs valued at $800 after breaking into Azzurro Restaurant, 17901 Collins Ave., between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 29 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 30.
A thief stole the license plate off a 2006 Hyundai in the 17700 block of Collins Avenue between 12:45 and 1 p.m. Sept. 30.
A burglar broke into a 2004 BMW and vandalized the inside of the car in the 16900 block of North Bay Road between 3 p.m. Sept. 29 and 1:15 p.m. Sept. 30. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
NORTH MIAMI BEACH
A burglar stole two plants valued at $20 from the front yard of a residence in the 1300 block of Northeast 156th Street between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Oct. 2.
A thief stole a pair of shoes valued at $100 from a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the 1800 block of Northeast 157th Terrace between 11 p.m. Oct. 2 and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 3.
A thief stole a 1998 Lincoln Town Car valued at $4,000 in the 3800 block of Northeast 168th Street between 8 p.m. Sept. 26 and 8 a.m. Sept. 27.
A burglar stole $5,000 cash after prying open a kitchen sliding glass door of a residence in the 1900 block of Northeast 176th Street between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 5.
A thief stole a red duffle bag containing clothes after smashing a window on a 2005 Nissan Sentra in the 1000 block of Northeast 151st Street between 9 and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 5.
UNINCORPORATED MIAMI-DADE
A burglar stole a PlayStation and PlayStation games after prying open a window screen at a house in the 19800 block of Northeast 11th Place at 1 p.m. Sept. 29. The burglar fled when the resident, who was sitting in her backyard, spotted him and screamed. The items were valued at $700.
A burglar stole a Glock handgun and a DVD player after prying open a door at a house in the 7900 block of Northwest Fifth Avenue before 4:15 p.m. Sept. 24. The owner told police he had been in jail and discovered the burglary upon his release. The stolen items were valued at $450.
