Police arrested a 20-year-old woman on a charge of theft at Sears, 19505 Biscayne Blvd., after store security said the woman tried to shoplift shirts, pants and underwear together valued at $85 at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 1.
Police arrested a 20-year-old woman on a charge of theft at Hollister, 19575 Biscayne Blvd., after store security said she hid two items valued at $87.50 in a bag and tried to leave without paying.
• SUNNY ISLES BEACH
A vandal knocked down poles and cut a volleyball net outside the Golden Strand, 17901 Collins Ave., between 8 p.m. Sept. 27 and 9:30 a.m. Sept. 28.
A thief stole a satellite dish valued at $250 in the 200 block of 174th Street at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 29.
• NORTH MIAMI BEACH
Burglars stole a 42-inch TV, two laptop computers, jewelry, a Nintendo Wii and video games together valued at $13,040 after prying open a window of a residence in the 1000 block of Northeast 178th Terrace between 10 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Oct. 2.
A thief stole a muffler valued at $500 off a 1997 Toyota 4Runner outside the restaurant Scorch, 13750 Biscayne Blvd., between 8 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Oct. 2.
A thief stole a 1997 Honda CR-V valued at $5,000 in the 1000 block of Northeast 157th Street between 6 a.m. Oct. 2 and 12:15 a.m. Oct. 3.
A thief stole a radio, a speaker and an amplifier together valued at $650 after smashing a window on a 2007 Dodge Magnum in the 2300 block of Northeast 173rd Street between 1:30 and 7 a.m. Oct. 3.
A thief stole a cellphone charger from a 2008 Dodge Charger in the 2300 block of Northeast 173rd Street between 11 p.m. Oct. 2 and 7 a.m. Oct. 3.
A thief stole a book bag and a camera together valued at $600 after popping a lock on a 2001 Ford F-150 outside Publix, 14641 Biscayne Blvd., between 10 p.m. Oct. 3 and 12:15 a.m. Oct. 4.
Burglars stole two TVs, a computer monitor and tower, a safe and other items together valued at $7,200 after breaking into and ransacking a residence in the 1200 block of Northeast 154th Street between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4.
A burglar stole a cellphone after removing hurricane shutters and the jalousie panes off a window of a residence in the 15600 block of Northeast 12th Avenue between 12:45 and 3:15 p.m. Oct. 2. The cellphone was valued at $100.
A burglar rifled through a 1997 Infiniti in the 1100 block of Northeast 165th Street after smashing a window between 12:30 and 10:30 a.m. Oct. 4. Damage was estimated at $250.
• UNINCORPORATED MIAMI-DADE
A thief stole $120, a briefcase, four credit cards, a drivers license and a worker I.D. after damaging a lock on a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 10800 block of Collins Avenue between 3 and 5 p.m. Sept. 24. The items were valued at $54. Damage was estimated at $300.
A thief stole $5,000, a camera, a purse, sunglasses, documents, credit cards and keys after damaging the lock on a 2005 Dodge Magnum in the 10800 block of Collins Avenue between 1 and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 24. The items were valued at $778. Damage was estimated at $300.
A thief stole a computer bag, a GPS and credit cards after breaking a window on a 2006 Saturn in the 1700 block of Ives Dairy Road between 3:15 and 3:45 p.m. Sept. 23. The items were valued at $560. Damage was estimated at $400.
A thief stole a tote bag from an unlocked 1997 Ford Expedition in the 300 block of Northeast 107th Street between 7:30 and 8 a.m. Sept. 23. The tote bag was valued at $35.
