A thief stole a laptop computer and laptop bag after smashing a window on a 2003 Toyota Camry in the 21200 block of East Dixie Highway between 11 p.m. Sept. 22 and 5:45 a.m. Sept. 23. The items were valued at $1,240.
• SUNNY ISLES BEACH
A thief stole a man's camera valued at $380 and $80 cash after he left the items unattended on a table in the pool area of the Newport Beachside Resort, 16701 Collins Ave., between 11:30 a.m. and noon Sept. 22.
Someone keyed the sides, hood and trunk of a 2007 Toyota Corolla in the parking garage at Sands Pointe, 16711 Collins Ave., between 11 p.m. Sept. 21 and 7 a.m. Sept. 22.
A thief stole a man's bag containing $480 cash, a wallet, a driver's license, credit cards, a watch valued at $600 and keys while he was swimming in the beach behind the Newport Beachside Resort, 16701 Collins Ave., between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 21.
A thief stole a religious ornament from the front door of an apartment in the 300 block of 174th Street between noon Aug. 1 and noon Sept. 10.
A thief stole a purse containing a wallet and credit cards after breaking a window on a 2003 Honda in the 16000 block of Collins Avenue between noon and 2:15 p.m. Sept. 15.
Someone vandalized a mirror in a women's restroom at the Ramada Marco Polo resort, 19201 Collins Ave., between 7 a.m. Sept. 14 and 9 a.m. Sept. 15.
• NORTH MIAMI BEACH
A burglar stole a semiautomatic pistol and a flashlight together valued at $723 after breaking into a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer in the 1600 block of Northeast 169th Street between midnight Sept. 13 and 9 a.m. Sept. 14.
A thief stole a 1997 Hyundai Elantra in the 1500 block of Northeast 163rd Street between 2:15 and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 14. The car was valued at $2,000.
A burglar broke open the front door of an apartment in the 16900 block of West Dixie Highway between noon Sept. 13 and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 14.
A burglar stole a generator from the backyard of a residence in the 900 block of Northeast 181st Street between 10 p.m. Sept. 13 and 4 p.m. Sept. 14. The generator was valued at $500.
A burglar shattered a bedroom window of a residence in the 1700 block of Northeast 179th Street and stole a laptop computer valued at $1,500 between 8:30 and 111:30 a.m. Sept. 15.
• UNINCORPORATED MIAMI-DADE
A burglar used a hammer to break a window at a house in the 100 block of Northeast 156th Street between 10:45 and 11 a.m. Sept. 21 and then stuffed three credit cards, a laptop computer and a camera into a pillow case before fleeing. The burglar left the hammer behind on a couch. The items were valued at $930. Damage was estimated at $100.
A thief stole a radio after breaking a window on a 2000 Honda Civic in the 1100 block of Northwest 144th Street between 6 p.m. Sept. 20 and 11:45 a.m. Sept. 21. The radio was valued at $250. Damage was estimated at $100.
A thief stole a case of cigars and clothes after breaking two windows on a 2003 Mercedes-Benz at the corner of 156th Street and Northeast 25th Avenue between noon and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 21. The items were valued at $2,500. Damage was estimated at $300.
A thief stole a purse after breaking a window on a 2006 Dodge Stratus in the 100 block of Northwest 116th Street at 1 p.m. Sept. 21. The purse was valued at $100. Damage was estimated at $250.
A burglar stole a laptop computer and a television after kicking in the front door of a house in the 15700 block of Northwest Seventh Avenue between 9 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Sept. 21. The items were valued at $1,200. Damage was estimated at $100.
• NORTH BAY VILLAGE
A thief stole a radio from a car in the 7600 block of East Treasure Drive between 7:45 and 8 a.m. Sept. 19.
Burglars threw rocks and broke open the French doors and ransacked a residence in the 1600 block of South Treasure Drive between 11 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Sept. 18.
• MIAMI BEACH
A thief stole a Federal Reserve law enforcement badge, bank cards and a portable DVD player after breaking into the trunk of a 2009 Chrysler in the 7200 block of Collins Avenue between 1:45 and 3 p.m. Sept. 11.
A thief stole a laptop computer valued at $1,500 after smashing a window on a 2008 Honda Accord in the 800 block of Sixth Street between 1 and 3 p.m. Sept. 11.
A robber punched a man in the face and took his $40 in the 2400 block of Flamingo Drive at 2 a.m. Sept. 10. The victim was walking on the foot bridge when a man approached him and demanded money. The robber then punched the victim on the side of his face, knocking him to the ground and causing him to pass out. When the victim woke up, his cash was missing.
Burglars forced open a door of an apartment in the 300 block of Jefferson Avenue and stole a television and a DVD player, a parrot, car keys, several semiautomatic guns and a shotgun between noon and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 16. The items were valued at $9,465.
