14 years after founding, Aventura's population growing younger

The grass by the toddler bounce house turned into a virtual baby stroller parking lot during Founders Day in Aventura Sunday afternoon as young parents flocked to the event, breaking last year's attendance record.

    Red-light cameras go into effect

    The 30-day grace period for red-light enforcement cameras in Sunny Isles Beach ended last week.

    Drivers will now be fined $125 for the first infraction, $250 for the second and $500 for any infraction after that.
