Miami Gardens man gets life for killing wife's lover
For fatally shooting his wife's new lover in the back of the head, a Miami Gardens man must serve life in prison -- a case that marks the first murder trial for the city's 2-year-old police department.
Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Stacy Glick on Friday sentenced Louis Lee Bradshaw, 38, for the March 7 murder of Kellon H. Wilson, 24. A jury convicted him in September.
Another jury in September convicted Bradshaw's wife, Christina Bradshaw, 35, of accessory after the fact for helping him flee to Jacksonville. She will be sentenced on Nov. 29.
