Giants' Bradshaw ruled out for Thursday

The Giants have ruled out running back Ahmad Bradshaw for Thursday's matchup with the Denver Broncos.

Bradshaw, who has been playing through foot and ankle injuries for most of the season, suffered yet another ankle injury in last Sunday's overtime win against Atlanta.

Head coach Tom Coughlin confirmed this week that it was Bradshaw's previously uninjured (left) ankle that took the blow on Sunday. He was unable to practice this week.

Charges dropped in 2007 Miami birthday party double killing

Prosecutors on Monday dropped murder charges against a teenager who investigators said shot and killed two during a melee during a 2007 birthday party at a rented Miami banquet hall.

Labron Brown, 18, had been charged with two counts of second-degree murder and carrying a concealed firearm.

He was accused in the slayings of Samuel Brown, 16, and Michael Bradshaw, 20, who were shot dead on June 17, 2007, inside the Polish American Club, 1250 NW 22nd Ave. Four other teens were wounded in the melee.

North Miami gas station owner, wife shot in holdup

A gas station owner and his wife were shot during an armed robbery in North Miami on Wednesday night, police said.

The shooting took place shortly after 10 p.m. at 1600 NE 123rd St., said Lt. Neal Cuevas, a North Miami police spokesman.

The gas station's owner, whose name was not released, was taken by air to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. His wife was slightly injured but was not hospitalized, Cuevas said.

Still no verdict in case of slain informant

A jury weighing the case against one of the men accused of killing police informant Rachel Hoffman remained deadlocked after its second day of deliberations Wednesday.

The 12-member panel heard testimony for a week against Deneilo Bradshaw, 24, who along with his brother-in-law, Andrea Green, is accused of robbing the Clearwater native and shooting her five times in a botched drug-sting arranged by the Tallahassee Police Department in May 2008.

Bradshaw faces charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery. He could receive the death penalty if convicted as charged.
