FLAGAMI AREA
A thief stole a purse, credit cards and a driver's license after breaking a window and damaging the trunk on a 2007 Mazda in the 7200 block of Northwest 11th Street between 11 p.m. Sept. 25 and 1:45 a.m. Sept. 26. The items were valued at $42. Damage was estimated at $550.
A thief stole tools after breaking a padlock on a 2004 utility trailer in the 7200 block of Northwest 11th Street between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 24 and 9:30 a.m. Sept. 25. The tools were valued at $3,444. Damage was estimated at $20.
WEST MIAMI
A vandal threw a concrete planter at the window of a 1999 Dodge Caravan in the 6200 block of Southwest Ninth Street between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 20 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 21.
CORAL GABLES AREA
A burglar ransacked a house in the 1800 block of Southwest 37th Avenue on Aug. 6.
A burglar ransacked a tool shed in the backyard of a house in the 1900 block of Southwest 33rd Court between July 10 and July 24.
SOUTH MIAMI
A thief stole a cellphone valued at $400 left in a restroom at Martini Bar, 5701 SW 72nd St., between midnight and 3 a.m. Sept. 18.
Police arrested a woman on a charge of theft after they said she shoplifted clothes valued at $156 from Urban Outfitters, 5701 SW 72nd St., at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 17.
FLAGAMI PARK AREA
A burglar broke into a house in the 600 block of Southwest 73rd Avenue between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Aug. 20. A witness told police he recorded the burglary with his video camera.
LITTLE HAVANA
A thief stole a watch from a house in the 100 block of Northwest 24th Avenue on Aug. 7.
Someone ransacked the backyard of a house in the 100 block of Northwest 16th Avenue on Aug. 6.
EAST LITTLE HAVANA
A thief stole a woman's wallet from her purse while she shopped at Publix, 311 SW Seventh St., on Aug. 6.
SHENANDOAH
A burglar broke into a house in the 1500 block of Southwest 15th Street between 7 a.m. Aug. 19 and noon Aug. 20.
COCONUT GROVE
A burglar broke into an apartment in the 1600 block of South Bayshore Court on Aug. 15.
A burglar ransacked a business at 2167 S. Bayshore Dr. between 4 p.m. Aug. 18 and 10 p.m. Aug. 19.
DOWNTOWN MIAMI
A thief stole a man's bag while he was sleeping on a bus leaving the corner of Northeast 16th Street and Biscayne Boulevard on Aug. 11.
SWEETWATER AREA
A thief stole a wallet and $200 in Colombian currency after breaking a window on a 2009 Ford Taurus in the 600 block of Northwest 136th Avenue between 9:45 and 10:30 p.m. Sept. 26. The wallet was valued at $50. Damage was estimated at $200.
TAMIAMI PARK AREA
A thief stole a laptop computer and a case after breaking a window on a 2006 Honda Accord in the 9700 block of Southwest 19th Street between 8 and 11:15 p.m. Sept. 26. The items were valued at $1,075. Damage was estimated at $50.
UNIVERSITY PARK AREA
A thief stole 70 CDs, a cellphone and $60 from an unlocked 1994 Jeep Cherokee in the 11000 block of Southwest 40th Street at midnight Sept. 26. The items were valued at $2,650.
OLYMPIA HEIGHTS
A thief stole a vehicle registration card after breaking a door lock on a 2002 Volkswagen in the 10400 block of Southwest 34th Street between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Sept. 25. The registration was valued at $17.50. Damage was estimated at $50.
