A thief stole papers after breaking a window and a tail light on a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta in the 13300 block of Southwest First Street between 11 and 11:30 p.m. Oct. 31. Damage was estimated at $250.

A thief stole a laptop bag and papers after breaking a window on a 2007 Ford Fusion in the 13300 block of Southwest First Street between 11 p.m. Oct. 31 and midnight Nov. 1. The items were valued at $60. Damage was estimated at $150.

A thief stole a Glock handgun, a holster and 10 rounds of ammunition from a 2007 Ford Excursion in the 13000 block of Southwest Fifth Street between 5:15 and 6 p.m. Nov. 2. The items were valued at $805.

• WESTCHESTER

A thief stole a construction tool from a 2007 Ford F-150 at the corner of Southwest 72nd Avenue and North Waterway Drive after breaking a door lock between 1:45 and 2:15 p.m. Nov. 3. The tool was valued at $3,500. Damage was estimated at $100.

• UNIVERSITY LAKES AREA

A burglar stole a 42-inch flat-screen TV and a laptop computer together valued at $3,500 after prying open a sliding glass door at a residence in the 1900 block of Southwest 155th Avenue between 4 a.m. and 7 p.m. Oct. 21.

• INTERNATIONAL GARDENS AREA

Sometime stole a white 2007 Toyota Tundra pickup truck in the 1500 block of Southwest 118th Avenue between 8:30 a.m. Oct. 24 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 25.

• PINECREST

A thief stole a camera and a GPS together valued at $460 from a construction site in the 12300 block of Southwest 69th Court between 10:30 a.m. Oct. 23 and 10:50 a.m. Oct. 26.

Someone smashed a window on a 2008 Mercedes-Benz at Temple Beth Am, 5950 SW 88th St., and stole a Coach wallet and purse together valued at $690 and two checks written for $4,297 at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 27.

A thief smashed a window on a 2003 Toyota Corolla at Whole Foods, 11701 S. Dixie Hwy., and stole a laptop computer valued at $1,200 at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 27.

• PALMETTO BAY

A thief stole $400 and a credit card from a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban in the 7800 block of Southwest 152nd Street after breaking a window between 7:45 and 9:15 a.m. Oct. 30. The credit card was valued at $5. Damage was estimated at $200.

A thief stole a Smith & Wesson handgun, Leatherman tool, GPS, wallet and bag from a 2003 Toyota in the 13800 block of Southwest 70th Avenue between 7 and 10 p.m. Oct. 29. The items were valued at $1,010.

• WEST PERRINE

A burglar stole a 42-inch television valued at $1,200 after breaking a window at a house in the 18200 block of Southwest 102nd Avenue between 6 and 11 p.m. Nov. 6. Damage was estimated at $300.

• CUTLER BAY

A thief stole a purse, identification cards, $10, a camera and a book from an unlocked Honda Accord at a gas station in the 10800 block of Caribbean Boulevard after the driver briefly left it unattended at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 4. The items were valued at $151.
