UNIVERSITY PARK AREA

A burglar stole an entertainment system from a 2008 Ford F-150 at the corner of 112th Avenue and Southwest 24th Street after breaking door locks and damaging the center console between 8:15 and 11 p.m. Oct. 8. The system was valued at $550. Damage was estimated at $600.

WESTCHESTER

A thief stole a purse, identification cards and $200 after breaking a window on a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country in the 3600 block of Southwest 87th Avenue between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 6. The items were valued at $215. Damage was estimated at $50.

SOUTH MIAMI

Someone stole a watch, a wallet and a laptop computer together valued at $2,000 from a 2002 Mercedes-Benz in the 6600 block of Southwest 63rd Terrace between 8 p.m. Sept. 29 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 30.

PINECREST

A burglar stole antiques from a house in the 11800 block of Southwest 81st Road between 11 a.m. Sept. 28 and

11 a.m. Sept. 29. The burglar took two porcelain dolls, a silver picture frame, a silver tray and a silver hairbrush together valued at $1,900.

PALMETTO BAY

A thief broke a door lock on a 2006 Ford F-150 in the 8700 block of Southwest 144th Street between 8:15 a.m. and

1:15 p.m. Oct. 1. Damage was estimated at $250.

A thief stole two drills and two saws from an unlocked 2007 Isuzu truck in the 9200 block of Southwest 165th Street between midnight Sept. 30 and

6 a.m. Oct. 1. The items were valued at $250.

A thief stole a wallet from an unlocked 2009 Toyota Camry in the 16500 block of Southwest 92nd Avenue between 5 p.m. Sept. 30 and 7 a.m. Oct. 1. The wallet was valued at $25.

WEST PERRINE

A burglar stole a refrigerator, a washer, and a dryer after prying open the front door of a house in the 17300 block of Southwest 103rd Avenue between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1 and

8:15 p.m. Oct. 2. The items were valued at $700. Damage was estimated at $50.

A burglar stole an alarm system after prying open a sliding glass door at a house in the 10400 block of Southwest 170th Terrace between 2:30 p.m. Oct. 2 and 6 p.m. Oct. 3. The alarm was valued at $100. Damage was estimated at $40.

CUTLER BAY

A burglar stole a television and a laptop computer after breaking a kitchen window and bedroom door at a house in the 22500 block of Southwest 88th Path between 11:30 p.m. Oct. 8 and 1:45 p.m. Oct. 9. The items were valued at $2,160. Damage was estimated at $200.

Officers responding to a burglary at a house in the 9900 block of Southwest 212th Street at 11 p.m. Oct. 9 discovered a marijuana grow lab. When the officers arrived, a resident at the house was trying to corral dogs that got loose when a burglar pried open the front door. The officers discovered the marijuana growing in a bedroom when they entered to check for suspects and called the narcotics squad. Damage was estimated at $80.

A thief stole a radio and two headrest televisions after breaking a window on a 1996 Cadillac Deville in the 8200 block of Southwest 210th Street between 7 p.m. Oct. 10 and

5:30 p.m. Oct. 11. The items were valued at $1,250. Damage was estimated at $100.

LINCOLN CITY PARK AREA

A burglar ransacked the interior of an unlocked 1994 Ford F-150 in the 22100 block of Southwest 103rd Court between 2 p.m. Oct. 6 and

3:30 a.m. Oct. 7.
