Bicyclist dies in S. Miami-Dade hit-and-run

A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Southwest Miami-Dade Monday night, police said.

The man, whose name was not immediately released, died on the shoulder of the road in the 15300 block of Southwest 157th Avenue. He was riding home from work on a light-blue bicycle when he was struck by a car heading north, said Det. Roy Rutland, a Miami-Dade police spokesman. 1257827334
